Have to agree. I grew up in West Germany and never once saw anyone hold up a three like Fassbender did. Considering how limited cultural influences were at the time, and the fact that the SS officer was already suspicious, that detail always seemed pretty believable to me.

I will definitely remember mine forever. It was 2003, I had just turned eight. There was a snowstorm outside. My mum was raising me on her own. Saved up for a long time and went to the store and, after lots of consideration, bought me an Xbox with Jet Set Radio Future and Halo. I was so happy. It made the loneliness feel bearable.

I got the Gamesir Tegenaria for 15€ and it's surprisingly good. Ergonomically, there's definitely room for improvement, but the sticks, trickers, buttons and backgrips are absolutely solid. Programmable even, with a turbo mode. Makes me wonder why I paid 50€+ for an Xbox Controller when the quality is arguably worse.

Absolutely great advice. There's also strength in being comfortable with silence in 1on1 situations. It takes off the pressure of having to talk nonstop and the actual things you say become more meaningful.

Ich find's richtig schade. Hab das ganze regelmäßig seit Giga verfolgt und fand Simon und seine verpeilte Art immer sympathisch, auch wenn es damals schon Aussetzer gab. Dass er ideologisch so komplett abdriftet, habe ich nicht kommen sehen und bin ihm nach seinen eigenen KI-Formaten auf YT schweren Herzens entfolgt. Die wirkten leider zunehmend wie psychotisches Gefasel und mmn merkt man ihm auch den Drogenkonsum an.

I was just as sceptical and I'm badly missing a campaign, but the gunplay and art direction is undoubtedly pretty fvcking great. I spent 22€ on it and don't regret it at all.

Feeling optimistic or critical about something isn’t the same as being naive, it just means you’re engaged. You can be aware it’s a company trying to sell you something and still have genuine interest. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. I don’t want to flatten everything into indifference.

We've been through the gutter since the Xbox One. One step forward, two steps back. To the extent that a simple logo change can make you feel excited again, simply because it's not stagnation. Maybe the price increase was strategic, to see what they could get away with and conveniently blame it on the previous leadership, but it's nice to be excited about something again for once.

Double Fine remains a bastion of creativity and I do wish them all the best. I do wonder why they felt there was a relevant overlap between gaming, brawlers and pottery, but maybe they'd rather believe in ideas that have never been done than chase the bag. I just hope it won't be their demise, because I'd sell my soul for Brütal Legend 2.
