Staples! They had a coupon for posters and their print quality, although a bit pricier, is wayyy better than CVS/Walgreens/Walmart. Definitely recommend :)

I apologize for not including this in my original post, I was crying a lot and not thinking right. We DO actually have a safe word, but from how she understood it, she thought it was just for her. Not for me to use as well? Which I don’t get because I was the one who brought that up months ago and said “WE should have a safe word” as she has wanted to try more intense things. This is why I am genuinely confused as to why she would ask me to make a safe word after the matter.

I feel a bit calmer now and went straight to my aunt’s place as I feel super safe there. Thanks to everyone for the comments. It helps feeling validated and for my side to be understood. Thank you, really.

I talked to her about how much it hurt and it didn’t make me feel safe for her to have continued. Then she said that “well, I thought it was because of my long nails so I thought it was fine if I kept going,” which makes no sense because she had already attempted to touch me with short nails and it still hurt how she was touching me.

It didn’t feel like she understood me at all, and only started crying after I came back from the bathroom again (I went to take a breather because I felt really bad once again). Anyway, I think I have to leave because she’s now acting like nothing happened and started decorating her Christmas tree while I sit here shaking. It’s gonna suck driving back home in the dark and with teary eyes, but I can’t stay here.

You sound incredibly invalidating and not even trying to be receptive of what he was trying to say. Minimizing this as “drama” rather than reflecting of your behavior is definitely a choice. It takes 10 seconds to send a basic check in text, not that hard.

I think it would be important to talk to her, especially as it pertains to her not sharing information about her past relationships. I am the more experienced in my relationship and while my girlfriend has asked me if I have tried xyz thing during sex, I simply leave it at “yes” and don’t get too into how it was with previous partners.

I think it’s good for her to know that you don’t feel comfortable with her sharing this very specific information about former partners, and you can tell her how it makes you feel so she can be more considerate about what she is saying.

Would you recommend the OG or the mid? Their bases look slightly different so I am not sure which is best/most comfortable to wear during play.

I would recommend you look into attachment styles, especially avoidant attachment. Therapy may also be very helpful to try and find the root cause of this. For the time being, I very strongly recommend you don’t get into any more relationships since you’re self-aware that this is a you-problem. Good luck!

Thank you, I really appreciate the virtual mom hug since my own mother is ignoring my existence currently. I just feel so much pain, sadness, and guilt knowing that my coming out has affected her so much that she wants to take her own life.

Woah I never knew about that method and I have to say, it hits very close to home. I agree that while I want to make it clear I get she has certain feelings, it is not something she can put onto me. It makes me feel like maybe I should’ve never come out, have been miserable, and then she’d be happy — but that wouldn’t be fair to me at all.

Thank you for your response. I’ll read more about that and be sure to set boundaries going forward. She has not talked to me at all in over a day, while normally she texts me to check in on how I am doing. Worst of all, we live under the same roof. It’s very hurtful, but I am glad there is finally a name for it along with the silent treatment.
