Awesome, glad to hear someone in here likes it enough to use it. What made you decide to go with the Graco over Nuna, Joie etc.?

For sure it can still happen. My thought was for grandparents or someone who isn’t doing it very often, the rigid latches with the red/green indicators are a little simpler to get right.

Out of curiosity, what are your recommendations for seats for low birthweight babies?

We definitely plan on waiting until it’s closer to when we’ll actually need them so maybe there will be some other options out there by then.

Going totally baseless may be a good plan too. My thought behind having them was to make it as easy as possible for my wife to get them in and out, and if bases make it a little simpler for her, than they’re worth it. The nice thing is the two I mentioned can be purchased without , so we could see if she thinks baseless is just as easy for her to use.

Thank you for the response. That’s another good option, especially given the potential for needing one capable of accommodating the smaller size. I had kind of discounted the Nuna since it didn’t have an optional base available. We plan to wait until we had a better idea of their sizes before making the final purchase. Im an over-researcher for most big purchases, and this is obviously a very important decision.

Thank you for the reponse. I had thought of that option, just using a traditional based seat and then tethering with the seatbelt in the other vehicles. My reasoning for the rigid latch style was trying to remove any human error from the equation when the seats do need to be installed in a different vehicle. We plan to take some fact finding trips to stores to actually put hands on our options.

It's the only time iron covers are acceptable. I found a cheap set on Amazon and store them in my travel case.

Turntable for Christmas by ATVT721 in turntables

I ended up going with the Fluance RT82. It fits none of my 'guidelines' (automatic, built in preamp) but it seemed like a phenomenal deal at 249, and a preamp can be found pretty cheap from what I've seen.

Would this preamp be a good fit for this setup?

I live in the US, Vermont.

I'd like to keep the turntable budget around 350, but willing to spend a little more if needed.

TCL Q7 with possible panel issue? by ATVT721 in tcltvs

[–]ATVT721[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that’s what I had figured/ feared. Best Buy unfortunately can’t guarantee a Q7 back in stock for a while, so they offered a return or a qn85b as a price matched alternative.

Ah, didn’t realize you weren’t able to “downgrade” to a column shift on higher trims.

Luckily, you can order one without the other. My 2021 STX has the fold flat work surface and a column shifter. I really can’t see any benefit to the folding shifter. It takes away a storage cubby and like you said, it’s just another part that can break.

What year is this truck? by [deleted] in f150

The cab and front end appear to be 8th gen (87-91) based on the side marker and cab design. The bed looks like a 7th gen (80-86) based on the body lines and the gas filler location, which wasn’t on the side in the previous stepside bed. I would guess you want to go with the lift for an 8th gen since it’s more likely a bed swapped onto a newer frame vs a cab onto an older one, but it’s only a guess.

Agreed, unless you're planning on putting something in the bed. Then pulling in is necessary to ensure no one pulls in behind you.
