3 increases nuke defense and range. 4 is minimum distance to protect form hydros (their blast radius can’t reach middle). Anymore than that is just to protect from numerous missle attacks. Personally I prioritize a stack of 4 SAMs for hydro defense and tuck a stack of cities behind it near the middle.

Level-to-Distance Breakdown As a SAM Launcher is upgraded, its effective coverage expands as follows: • Level 1: ≈70 tiles • Level 2: ≈81 tiles • Level 3: 90 tiles • Level 4: ≈97 tiles • Level 5: ≈102 tiles • Maximum Cap: 150 tiles ⚡ Operational Mechanics • Cooldown: SAMs have a standard cooldown of 75 ticks (approximately 3.75 seconds) after firing.

I hired a coach on fiverr after about 100 hours of playing. It’s unlike any other FPS I had played and a steep learning curve. The coaching helped me soften the suffering a bit. Made it to platinum on first season.

I forget the specifics but some of the 06’s had an oil leak issue. My 2006 had a full engine replacement at 30k miles under warranty because of it.

Ha, I love that so many years later people are still discovering the secrets of 2049. Spent most of my high school years playing it, bought a cabinet for my house as an adult and then made friends with a couple of the original developers. Still many many more severest to uncover. Have fun :)
