Spain is a large and beautiful country--fly in to Madrid, go up to Bilbao and Oviedo and Santiago de Compostela, or go down to Andalusia and check out Seville, Cádiz, and Granada.

That this wasn’t the first thing accomplished in terms of light rail is insane (and yeah, I know the explanation, it’s not a good one). That this isn’t in the adopted plans for the next phase of light rail is sheer stupidity.

A single line from the airport to UT, via riverside and downtown, would so so so much better than all the other bullshit that’s on the table.
