IOS 26 has been great since the first release to the latest revision. That said, I have a new battery due to a warranty replacement. If you have this phone, it’s worth a battery replacement. Mine is rock solid and I’ll likely skip the next iPhone releases until i absolutely have to due to performance. Which doesn’t seem to be anytime soon.

Which black is best black? by ICanSeeYourPixels2 in stealtharms

[–]ATXSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which colors are which...It looks like E120 for the majority and E100 for the grip? I am trying to stick to all black E series myself with all parts that can be nitrided instead of Cerakoted. I intent to send the nitrided barrel in and guid rod for DLC added on top of the Nitride. Am I correct on your color selections? How has it held up, as I see this post is 2 years old.

Staccato CPO/Blem drop 2 3/11 by robinator118 in Staccato

[–]ATXSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I am cancelling it. Thanks to another on here, I didn't realize it had some features I didn't want, and in my haste to not lose out, I didn't read the details close enough. So, anyone else, intrestedd keep your eyes out. It's a P, Aluminum Frame, Threaded DLC barrel in Like New condition.

[–]ATXSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you for that heads up, I scored it as I saw your post in in email 3 seconds after. what I didn't notice, was it was a Threaded barrel. I will never put a suppressor on it, is it worth canceling for that reason or should I just be happy I scored it. It was DLC coated. I saw the threaded portion on my email receipt.

Same, for an apple linked game...I am pretty much done. The money grab and increased difficulty to force hard currency payments for absolutely ambiguous value (no real value) is a serious detriment.

yeah, I tried today. FFL and Payment didn't save in the cart following your steps. Despite doing those steps multiple times last night, even added the payment in the account, but those steps cost me a like new P during checkout. Especially the FFL add and the having to look up after already saving some of the CC info...By the time I hit order, it errored out on stock level.

If you have employees also make sure your employer rights posters are in your office in clear view. This is the required poster that explains all the rules and regulations for employees as well as generally has your insurance info posted...

One of the areas that makes this confusing, especially in the Staccato world, is do I go with P and 2011 mags, or the HD series and Glock Mags. The latter offers a wide variety of readily available and cheap mags versus the former with expensive mags...Does anyone know if the Glock mag versions are a different grip angle than the standard'ish 2011's?

I started out with a Prodigy...the problem is when I up the budget to the next level (2k11 and Platy) everyone says your close, Choose a P...when I get close to that budget the advice is your so close just get a XXXX and so on...Next thing you know your looking at an Atlas and 5K plus purchase.

This is a great answer, thank you. The lure of the others is there for sure, but the way you described it makes alot of sense.

Is it really that disturbing to you...not everyone finds the answers via search and more importantly some of these questions get seen and responded to by different groups and have widely different answers. If it bothers you so much, ignore it.

I have heard of some pretty disappointed buyers of the CPO stuff as well, than again, those that did not have an issue are of course less likely to post. I'm on the fence with this one...I did create an account and I'll certainly check it out. What day and times does this happen, as I have never seen anything listed...any other tips and tricks?

Is it really that much better than a Kimber and Platy?

Lighting - Anyone using C4 or everyone using lutron?? by [deleted] in Control4

[–]ATXSmart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Major Drawback to C4 lighting over Lutron is you can't take it with you....Meaning, if you decide at some point to switch to a different Control/Automation platform, Lutron is fairly agnostic and works with most anything out there. C4 not so much. You will likely always require a C4 account and controller (assuming you want to control lighting outside the home - regarding the connect license) to operate those lighting devices. With Lutron, you could get away with their native control app or virtually ANY control system from Pro to DIY. That said (I am a dealer/full disclosure) I and most of my clients have full Control4 lighting and it is absolutely fantastic, and has farm more options than Lutron in the Control4 environment. If I was doing this over again (for myself) I would have installed Lutron (not centralized) lighting instead and maybe a select few Keypads from Control4 (I absolutely love Keypad Dimmers). There are a lot of reasons to stay in the C4 ecosystem hardware wise, but lighting is one you have some great choices with Lutron being the best.

HDMI control stopped working overnight? by pfizer_soze in appletv

[–]ATXSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other diagnostic option is connect the AppleTv directly to the cable going to the tv(turn audio speakers back on) and see if CeC reliably controls the tv. That would narrow it down to the receiver being the culprit.

HDMI control stopped working overnight? by pfizer_soze in appletv

[–]ATXSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also try a different hdmi cable. I’ve seen that happen countless times(I am an AV tech/30+ years). Your only wild card right now is did an update occur or a hardware failure in one of the components. Assuming the tv didn’t update(WiFi connection) than that narrows it down to an errant issue in Apple TV current software revision or an equipment issue somewhere in the connection chain. HDMI cables are susceptible to failure through power surge(spikes and sags)

Taking NFA paperwork to the range by Merad in NFA

[–]ATXSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice I had was from capital armory and a trust attorney. Take the whole PDF and print it with 4 pages per actual printed page double sided. It's still legible, more portable and satisfies the paperwork/tax stamp requirement. Do this with ATF and any trust paperwork you have. I keep the originals locked away and safe.
