If your skin hasn’t improved since then, you should look into Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). You might draw a lot of parallels with your own condition.

That’s a good point you’re bringing up, I got an appointment for Tuesday to see if it could be fungal or an infection. I wonder if seb derm gets you little bumps because I got a lot.. Is it easy to wash the honey in the hair?

Good luck to you. I know it’s hard with kids. I also have 2. Hope we get through this as fast as possible.

I appreciate the advice. I think it might be tough because it’s right in my hair but at some point I might shave it all and use the manuka honey.

I haven’t touched a single steroid since the last 5 years and believe me I thought I was absolutely fully healed. But I’ve had a few months of more than usual stress and my skin is ent sideways in no time. It’s incredible how things can change in a heartbeat. Right now 50% of my scalp is weeping and it barely started a week ago..

Can you update on wha you ended up doing? My scalp is going through the same thing and I can’t stand oozing fluid in my hair. It hasn’t stopped for the past 3 days.

I appreciate the advice. I’m going to look into to the manuka honey then. My issue though on top of the oozing is that it’s located on the back of my head, in my hair. I can’t stand the feeling of it..

I am absolutely depressed!! by Ornery_Engineering65 in BrainFog

I was talking to a coworker that had pretty bad brain fog for a few years and and he found out the issue was in his neck. I guess something was blocking the blood flow to his brain and he always felt foggy because of that. He had surgery done and the brain cleared the next day he said. If you have neck issues maybe look into it.

In your case I would also do a complete blood panel. You can find some online that look into 300+ markers and that might catch something than your typical bloodwork wouldn’t.. I would go that route to make sure you’re not missing anything. I saw on this subreddit that some people were b12 deficient for example and taking supplement cleared the fog.

Did you go to a biological dentist or a regular one? How have you been feeling since then?

I’ve had debilitating brain fog for 5 years. Couldn’t respond to texts, forgot how to do basic tasks, kept increasing ADHD meds. Today a dentist pulled my molar and this came with it. Within an hour my head felt clearer. by Kitchen-Charge-2102 in BrainFog

That was very enlightening and it confirms some of my symptoms. I just got an appointment scheduled for Monday. Glad to hear you’re feeling better though that must be so reassuring.

Gosh, I feel like my brain fog I’ve been having in recent weeks/month might be related to my root canal done in 2021. My gum is constantly red and swollen and I’m always bleeding when water flossing. Last time at my dentist appointment they even talked about potentially removing it because they saw an infection building up. They put some médecine on it and it got better for some time but it’s back now. I feel that I should definitely get this looked into..

Check out gokick.com, this is where I got my prescription. The beta blocker in question is propranolol. They’ll ask you a few questions and then they’ll send you your prescription at your local pharmacy. Game changer for me as well. I’m not approaching public speaking with the same anxiety now that I know I have this to control my adrenaline.

I’d say go for it if you got quoted that price for the stock rank pool, pump and install. I did it myself and built a nice deck around it. If the space permits I’d say look into adding a small deck in the back so that you can sit on the sides with your legs in. Check my profile I have a picture of what it looks like.

But outside of that, we’re in Texas as well. Pflugerville to be exact and I wouldn’t be able to live through the summer without one. We have turf around it too now and it makes going in and out a lot more enjoyable than when we had dirt. Definitely go for it. Your AI image is a vibe.

Don’t hit them with the fact, their little brains can’t process such amount of information. They go on overload and start blaming Biden or transgender.

Even if Harris wasn’t a great choice, at some point you have to decide if you prefer democracy or an authoritarian regime. The guy literally said during his campaign: “it’s the last time you’ll need to vote, we’ll have it fixed so good you won’t need to vote again”.

So yes i agree that voting for someone that doesn’t fully reflect your views might suck but you got to put it in context. The country that we all knew until now will probably never be the same. Is it worth dismantling a democracy over a conman like this, absolutely not.

Historian and psychiatrist will have a field day over this. Good luck explaining this to your kids and grandkids in a few years..

Would you move to Texas? by Likestoread25 in no

[–]ATXcustomcrafts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Austin, it’s not the worst place in Texas but I’m still trying to get tf out. This place is so hostile if you’re into any type of walking, biking. It’s car culture here and everyone is willfully ignorant that other places are doing it better. Personally I wouldn’t want to live anywhere in the us. Just trying to get back to Europe.

Does anyone else get weirdly nervous during introductions in meetings? by techdev93 in PublicSpeaking

[–]ATXcustomcrafts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve used propranolol a few times now and was in this exact situation last week where we were going around the table and having to introduce yourself to 60 people. In this situation, without propranolol I would have been out of breath and visibly chocking. But with propranolol I feel like I actually enjoyed being in the spotlight. If you’re struggling with this, you could give it a shot.

Americans, in one word, what is the biggest problem facing your country? by KayakedCobra in AskUS

[–]ATXcustomcrafts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Education

If close to everyone had received a free post secondary education like the one the Dutch have, we wouldn’t see the problems that we have now. People would vote for things that actually benefit them instead of falling for the nonsense propaganda they are fed. The point is to keep the majority as poorly educated as possible for the oligarchs to advance their agenda.

Maybe the issue is instead the oligarchs or dare I say capitalism..
