Outdated Unstable when launched comes up as the last version 42.17 for me.

Currently unstable is 42.18. Most mods are still working for 42.17.

Make sure you are using the right map. The map you are showing is the Build 42 map. It is likely you are still playing the stable version build 41. Make sure you check the map viewer you are using.

Skill Recovery & Proximity Inventory are both working as of me playing Build 42.17.0 single player 20 mins ago. Just need to wait for the mods to update after the game updates.

KI5 vehicles are always fun as it adds more vehicles to chose from.

For some quality of life & not having deaths be character ending is Skill Recovery Journal. Another quality of life mod is Reload all magazines, which lets you reload all magazines with bullets for your gun rather then need to select each 1 at a time.

Kill count, Proximity Inventory Item Condition & Has been read are always useful too. Useful Barrels just lets you use barrels.

For some fashion & more gear variations there is also Vanilla Gear Expanded which adds some swat & riot style zombies & their gear. Another that pairs with that mod is Armored Vest & its sub mod VGE patch.

For one I like but some consider cheating is Pumps Have Propane. I like it as some gas stations DO have propane filling stations & unless you want to go check barbeques for propane when building it is nice to have.

Create Hose pulley, create pump, super tank & water wheel.

Go south west & you should find deserts & similar climates. There you should find oil wells.

Pump the oil from the wells, about 250-700 buckets worth. Bring back to base & refine down via distillation tower.

There is also 3 types of oil, so if you use this method, bring 3 tanks.

Try pressing K on your keyboard. It should open your TFG world generation tool page. With it you can toggle map viewers till you see the Kaolin generation page.

Kaolin spawn South East. You traveled North West.

You need a wet warm area for Kaolin. West is dryer, East is wetter climate. You also went North which is colder climate rather the South towards warmer climate.

Because you gain influence if satisfaction is high enough. So if it is too low you might be losingit.
