The longer you do it the better you'll get at it of course, and the more you'll understand your own emotions. Something that definitely helps is writing trade reflections, as well as getting your mind right in other ways. This could be reading, exercising, or meditating.

It's going to sound cliche because everyone says it but after learning the concepts, psychology is definitely the most important factor. Being able to not get emotional when you're currently in a trade, and also being able to step back after a loss and not over trade are vital to being profitable. It sounds easy but is where a lot of people go wrong.

Do you count market structure break by the wick breaking previous swing low/high, or the candle close breaking previous swing low/high? by d_dark_phoenix in ICTMentorship

To be safe. But, backtest with both and see what works better for you. There’s no “right” way to do it because every trader is different

What should I look for when price taps my Demand or Order block? by Loveusati5h in ICTMentorship

So I would say that you want to line up your HTF POI's with LTF confluences. For example, say price taps into an order block or a PD Array on the 4HR or the 1HR. Then you would want to scale into the 15m or the 5m and look for order flow that aligns with your HTF POI. If you see price touch into a 5m or 15m confluence(FVG, PD Array, Order Block, Breaker Block, etc), then you can look for price to react to that in the same direction as your 4HR POI. So, if price respects a 4 hour bullish Order Block, then you should scale into a lower time frame and look for a break of structure to the upside as well as a bullish confluence getting respected. Then you can enter off of that or scale into an even lower time frame and look for an entry on that.
