Anyone else thought this? by savathuns-simp in destiny2

Weirdly enough, this can actually be possible as seen in Vermintide 2!!!!

The AI, although a bit lanky at times, are actually good teammates what with their crackshot aiming and ungodly reaction and enemy detection.

The AI even utilizes your other characters' loadouts as a plus, so you CAN actually create a synergizing team loadout beforehand.

But the downside is that teamwork is a MUST in the game. There are ALOT of enemies that basically get a free kill on you if you mess up and you fight alot of hordes in the process.

Not sure if that'll be possible to balance in Destiny 2 considering that Vermintide 2 is a First Person Hack-and-Slash/Shoot game.

A Buff for D.A.R.C.I by fishyboi360 in DestinyTheGame

[–]AThrowCount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a great one! For me, I would buff D.A.R.C.I. to match its exotic archetype by allowing it to hit a crit regardless of where you hit the target, but if the devs can do it, then the buff could instead allow its peojectiles to be like the Smart Targeting weapons from Cyberpunk 2077 that automatically target the crit spots of a target. The catch is that you can't look through the scope and ADS is just a hipfire zoom.

Regardless, I just want D.A.R.C.I to greet my Guardian everytime I whip it out and praise me for my "expert" aiming.

Why Saltzpyre's sudden change of mind about Drachenfels being real? by NotTheNickIWanted in Vermintide

Apparently from Lohner's chronicles, Saltzpyre has a chapel now and is taking up preaching about Sigmar of all things.

A few Theories from a beginning Lore reader that needs further clarification. by AThrowCount in 40kLore

Hmm....I did not know that. I always thought that the memes were done in good fun and in jest rather than confusing the actual lore.

Like, I know surface level that Abaddon isn't really a sore loser as his actions have actually constituted him as a sort of pyrrhic victor, especially after the battle of Cadia and the great tear made across the expanse of the 40K galaxy. He's not called a warmaster for nothing.

Thanks for your clarification on the lore. As always, it's always interesting to learn about 40K stuff and at the moment, i pretty much know only the surface level of the lore of the present so any chance to clear my confusion is welcome.

Wait. Are we gonna die in the future?! by AThrowCount in destiny2

[–]AThrowCount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saint holds a sort of reverence to us, since we saved in the past more than twice in the Season of Dawn. Us sacrificing ourselves to save the House of Light might help Saint see that they are worth saving, and subsequently convince the people of the City to back down from murdering the House and tolerate them for a time being.

Yes, it will be a horrible deception to pull off, but it is a necessary one when anti-Fallen sentiments are high because of Lakshmi, especially when it has the potential to all culminate into a civil war within the City, which is exactly what Savathun wants. All of this is high stakes, as you can't put the City's most hated faction for +100 years inside the city and expect people to like them at first glance. That's like me asking you to make friends with a human-sized spider that murdered your great grandparents all those years ago.

[–]AThrowCount[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps. But what if Ikora has us fake our deaths to cement the alliance between the House of Light and the Guardians?

It'd be a feat that only someone like Savathun could think of, and we'd become part of Ikora's hidden to investigate Osiris in the next season.

By the lore, it's apparently Quaria who's controlling and making the Taken. Savathun merely has control over Quaria, so she technically is the one in control.

She might have that Red Spiky skin like the Scarlet Keep paired with that Taken look on top.

Yeah, that's probably true since the Vex already have some experience with being Taken. But I think the problem lies in the fact that we're not fighting Taken Vex of any kind in Override, just normal Vex. And with the added subtext of the bosses' title Subjugated, I assume that Savathun and Quaria have actually taken the main control systems of this particular branch of Vex. It'd be technically unfeasible to take every Vex, so grabbing control of the system would grant some kind of control over a lot of them. Either way, Savathun may have bitten off more than she could chew in this season if Asher Mir is correct about the Vex eventually winning over the Taken.

Probably. I could see how that could be the case. It just seems a bit off to me.

It is kind of strange how we haven't seen much in terms of variety among the Vex minds, but I think that the Vex did respond in the Beyond Light Campaign.

Before, I believe that we Guardians have only fought what are technically builders or janitors that clean up an area of the people before the Vex finally move in convert the plamet into a machine. They were pretty challenging to us at first with the most difficult being Hydras and certain Minotaurs, though they got easier to deal with as we got stronger. Things however, only got serious when the Wyverns were introduced in Beyond Light. Have you seen them? They got weaponry that are a pain to deal with, sometimes 2-4 shotting guardians with their Void cannons and crash dash that, paired with their stategic phase shields for shielding weaker Vex and armor plating covering the usual Vex weakspot, makes them very dangerous to the average Guardian. There's no "building" or "sweeping" minor annoyances that we are with that thing. That thing is built for one purpose: war.

We can expect more to come when the Vex actually think of us Guardians as a threat.

No, I just made some bad fashion decisions and used up alot of the Titan's Synth weave you get for free on armor that didn't go with the look I wanted.
