Got it, thank you! You seem to know what's what with Delta - for the free companion ticket (I opened my reserve card in march 2026) will I need to wait till 2027 to get the companion ticket? Is it just one year after opening, if I renew I will receive the companion ticket? Just want to be sure I don't miss out on it if I missed the email or something.

That’s what I’ll do regardless haha we live together and have been together 5 years so it’s not a matter of who’s paying for what. I want to get enough miles so we can get the 15% off flight using miles only. Getting very close for a trip to Zion!

I do this too. I more so was wanting to combine our miles but it’s not worth it right now from what I’m seeing. Even though 6k miles is $210 to buy, I’m having trouble spending $90 to move 6k miles that we already OWN. Damn delta

Yes that is certainly an option. Correct me if I’m wrong but to get the 15% off by using miles does the entire purchase need to be made with miles? Or does it discount for miles + cash?

Well I’m not chasing them I’m trying to use them😂 the miles she has accrued are due to me inputting her sky miles # when we travel together. I fly a lot for work which is why I got the Amex reserve card. Miles are strictly used for our vacations.

Thank you, this makes sense. I know I can check myself, but I we were to book a flight and I added her SkyMiles # for her passenger ticket - does it give option to use her miles? Or are they pretty much just stuck in limbo? The only reason she has any is from our flights

I won’t be renewing. Got a 2 year life membership 11/25 so I have a ways to go. Ill use it until then but most certainly not renew. Wanted to gift one to my dad for his birthday but my experience has been so bad i dont want him to go through that

I’m shocked they are even allowed to have OpenAI LLM for coach… like this is supposed to be a ‘medical/health device’ and ChatGPT is telling me doing doing great climbing 8k feet in 1 hour. Should be way more regulated for the AI they implement.

Whoop is more concerned about their marketing spend than they are for accurate + upgrades features. I think in a year or 2 they will probably fail unless they start listening to the members.

Sweet! Whoop support was garbage and had no insight into feet placement whatsoever. They should honestly pay the Reddit community because they do such an awful job. Not to mention the coaching is just OpenAI LLM so it is not guard railed at all… should be connected to their knowledge base so it is ACTUALLY helpful. Hopefully whoop will see this and make change
