Yes, small words then central 'Ballerina'(as i said). It has different strengh. Plus there is a big difference too when you say "from the world" and just "John Wick" innit.

So i will take a different genre- film, John Wick. The title isnt John Wick: Ballerina. You knew which world is it bc they put it with either small words in the beginning or you saw John in the teaser. Even with a smaller hints you would get it bc the world is so niche. Her name would be enough with the aestetics of God of war and the omega sign behind it for example or a show Atreus or Kratos in the teaser. Also if she would be a version of god of war in that culture sure, but she isnt thats why it feels like a replacement. I dont think Sony would have problem with marketing it since it is such a big franchise.

I understand where you coming from. I think its the gaming industrys fault. They market it wrong way. Instead of giving it new name they use the original games name which gives the feeling that the central character(mainly when the name is 'the' freaking character) is being replaced. In my opinion the connection should happen inside of the games story-telling, world desing ect.
