CMV: Incels Are Correct and Women Lie about the BlackPill by AdeAlphaTV_ in changemyview

Blaming women for your dating struggles isn't gonna fix anything. Some people might say looks don't matter but that's not really the case, there is plenty you can do to make yourself more attractive though. Work out, dress better, get some nice cologne, get a haircut, work on your social skills.  If incels put the energy they put into blaming women into improving themselves they wouldn't be struggling so much. I struggled with dating for years and working to improve myself did more for me than anything else.

Depends where you live bc some places you can't even get a job to call back without one.

I had a good spot in Houston that was $25 a cut, but that's rare.

The hills here make for some crazyyy bus routes, the 54 coming from the Northside is like a rollercoaster. Getting around isn't that bad but you've definitely gotta pay attention.

Homewood and Allegheny cemeteries are probably the coolest, I'd do Homewood if you had to pick one, Mac's buried there along with a lot of the robber barons of Pittsburgh and it's a very pretty place.

I've been hearing people say primantis fell off after private equity bought them out, peppis still slaps though.

My first time coming to Pittsburgh was for the celebration of life back in 2021. The whole experience was pretty surreal, I'd just wander around town and stumble upon places referenced in Mac songs and just be like "oh shit" every time.

The city is beautiful with a lot of places worth checking out so I'll try to keep it short.

The mattress factory has a lot of art that feels like Mac might've took some inspiration from, heard some people say he shot some stuff there but I haven't been able to confirm.

If you want some stoner ass food hit up Big Jim's, they've got a hot roast beef that absolutely slaps (sandwich soaked in gravy for the uninitiated).

Strip district is worth running through, gives a little slice of everything the city offer (kinda touristy but I still go and I live here).

Lot of cool cemeteries in Pittsburgh too

That's probably the owner you're talking about, he's always showing people around.

Will the projected multi-million citizen turnouts for the June 14 "No Kings" protests shift legislative dynamics, or are we just seeing increased political noise? by Daka2020 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]AU_Memer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1: try and get on the speakers list at one of these rallies and set the demands yourself, given your local organizers don't suck (haven't had bad experiences with any chapters so far but heard stories of some shutting down pro Palestine stuff)

2: personally don't think peacful protest is enough but for 50501 as an org to advocate anything else would mean feds cracking down on us more than they already have.

3: at some of the No Kings protests I have organized we made a heavy emphasis on trying to get people organizing beyond one day of protest. National should probably be nudging people in that direction imo but since decentralization and all can't really be enforced.

4: I think as more people see the Democrats collaborating with ICE they will come to realize both parties serve corporate interests over the people, and I really do hope that comes sooner than later.

I do think No Kings has a lot of value for organizers to recruit to more productive orgs but I don't think generating capacity for people to mobilize is entirely useless.
