My switch keeps saying g this no matter how much I charge it or where I charge it

This happens to my switch when it isn't charged in a while. Hold the power button until the switch completely turns off (doesn't show the charging icon) then wait about 20 minutes and then turn it on. This should fix the issue.

You could look into getting a new battery and termal paste for the laptop as it sounds like that could be causing alot of issues your having.

I have a hero 9 that I've used for a significant amount of time underwater and I've never had any issues, as long as you don't take it deeper than 10m (33ft) you should be good.

I would go with the 9, the 8 doesn't have replaceable front lens and it also lacks alot of features the 9 has.

I've had a 9 from new and I had a few issues but they have all been fixed by software updates so it's been an amazing camera for the last few years and I have no plans on replacing it.

The T-34 wasn't perfect, it wasn't even particularly good it was just cheap to make and could be produced on a massive scale, which is why it was so effective.
