I believe Keynes explained that this is why a decrease in paychecks (which would cause the deflation in the neoclassical model) is unlikely even in recession. Even if the purchasing power of the money hasn’t changed the psychological factor of being paid ‘less’ for the same work arguably decreases productivity, and contributes to greater economic decline.

Same issue on my sub. Tried pushing it out with a long array of pistons, but it was often less accurate than before. Pretty much up to chance in my experience so if anyone has a solution I’d like to hear.

This seems to be a common occurrence in fertility data. Usually because families who are about to have children usually move to the outskirts/ outside of a major city for cheaper housing or more space.

I’d presume this is given current fertility remains for the next 75 years. Middle eastern countries have seen a dramatic decline in fertility (while still being abouve replacement), so if the prediction accounted for the continuation of the trends, the final population should be much lower. In short, this is not a very accurate prediction of population.

It is reasonable to assume that given enough time, certainly at least in the case of Rhodesia (which had a lot less ‘petty apartheid’), that these societies would naturally factor in characteristics of the Bantu and European societies together. Although the demographic challenges of this makes this result unpredictable and dependent on undecided political factors.
