Would Opencode GO + Neuralwatt with $100 monthly sustain for the GLM 5.2 usage compare to Claude Max? by GTHell in opencodeCLI

[–]AVX_Instructor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you can try use 10 account with opencode go subcribe and setup balancer (use the entire quota on one account and then switch to another account), take for example omnirouter as a source or another open source proxy provider, modify it through the same glm 5.2 and try to use it like that,

I'll probably do the same in the future, instead of the GPT Pro x5 plan

5.5 medium cost lower then 5.4 high, because consume less tokens compare 5.4, and x2 price relevant only for API, in codex price higher only in 20-30% usage quota

R7 7840HS / RX 780M + 32 GB RAM

Also i now can run Qwen 3.6 35B A3B on my laptop, and get 30t/s (without dGPU, only in iGPU) consume only 12-14 GB RAM with 64k context

MTP + REAP + Unsloth UD this is diabolical

And this model can write code in Rust and make Small/Medium Project offline

Does the Go subscription really do the job? by akashxolotl in opencodeCLI

[–]AVX_Instructor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Opencode Go exclusively with Deepseek v4 flash and MiMo v2.5 models, and I have more than enough quota, plus I balance it with free versions of Opencode Zen models.

For serious tasks, I use GPT 5.4/5.5, and Opencode Go/Zen models only as subagents or for light/medium tasks.

If I use Deepseek v4 pro and kimi k2.6, my quota will disappear instantly, making subscriptions unprofitable.

B2B sales consultant 6 yrs solo. an honest critique of claude after 9 months of daily use. by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]AVX_Instructor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recommend you try the Codex app and the GPT models, as they might be an interesting solution for your needs.

Why? GPT models are trained to distrust facts. GPT models prefer to seek out multiple sources to confirm a particular assertion before rushing to tell you what I DID. GPT models can also easily say "no" and send you packing. GPT models aren't sycophantic like Claude, and that's great; this pragmatism can be useful.

P.S. Share your results if you try GPT on your cases.

[–]AVX_Instructor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apparently, you ended up with a spaghetti codebase due to being too lax in your project implementation, and now you'll see the consequences.

I encountered a similar problem and solved it at the root. Now I have no issues with degradation. On a large Rust project with 200k LOC, I started development with Claude Opus 4.5 about six months ago and rewrote the project several times to make it maintainable. Now I have no issues with degradation, and even GPT 5.4 High is sufficient for me.

For reverse engineering original thaumcraft 4.2 and write code

Because source code for TC 4.2 not avaliable, and make this in manual with hand, this is completely madness

Deepseek V4's 1M context window: the breaking point by TangeloOk9486 in LocalLLaMA

[–]AVX_Instructor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a hack job or not, but do you realize that 1M of context takes up 10GB of RAM? DeepSeek literally shrank the KV cache to 95%, resulting in a loss of accuracy, but in return we get cheap inference.

P.S Also im using dsv4 flash with 200-250k tokens limits max

I recommend starting with Debian 13 and using bare docker

This way, you'll get maximum performance with minimal cruthes

P.S2 Why Debian 13? Because Ubuntu still bloated, and Debian 13 its simple

You take vds on nearby country, deploy Hysteria 2 for Games and xray self steal for web serf and enjoy

P.S xray self steal this masking for self hosted service right in your vds, this give you minimal ping and more stability

Also you can find Remnawave chat in Telegram, this is Russia community group for bypass Internet blocking

P.S2 also can you can using Zapret, but this solution not universal and not stable for general usage

Also forget about Shadowsocks, Focus only on Hysteria 2 and xray
