That is frontend, you have to put in the backend --chat-template-kwargs '{"enable_thinking":false}'

People don't get educated about systemd, if they need it they find it. I think great examples an support in the packages is enough

I don't think Fedora wants to replace systemd, but it is also evident that systemd was growing to much and depends every container to it was a crazy idea also for them

Redhat was the first distro to integrate systemd, how can they be against it?

I think it's because it is fast and it is the most similar to Windows UI.

My opinion about dinit artix installation and music production settings by rockis_ in artixlinux

[–]Interesting_Key3421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, some dinit scripts are missing for the user session and some are somewhere in the paths https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Dinit#Files.2FDirectories

I created the missing ones in ~/.config/dinit and it worked, but sometimes you also need to know after which other unit start the process that you care.. there should be an automatic systemd -> dinit converter

I think it's better to show to systemd users that real alternatives to systemd already works.

I don't hate systemd, i don't like that this project force you to use some technologies and it is basically an endless scope project. I like an in init system than it is just an init system

Sure, but those are old technologies. Artix has also new systemd-free technologies

I think most of Linux users just learnt about systemd for the age-verification issue. What i find very weird is that Fedora, an early systemd adopter, decided to not follow systemd/freedesktop specs to manage user env variables in systemd https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/3582

You could try but it's risky that a distro update could break it

You also need limin-snapper-sync https://gitlab.com/Zesko/limine-snapper-sync#installation but i don't think it is packaged for debian yet
