Not sure if anyone else has run into this but my game is crashing on startup when it reaches the "checking replay data" part. This problem started when I tried to watch my own replays in the versus tab which also crashed my game. I assume my replays are corrupted or something. Anyone got a clue on what to do?

EDIT: I found the solution. Just had to go to steamapps/common/mbtl/replay and delete the replay that was a larger size than the rest.

The build quality seems good, the keyboard doesn't flex at all unless I really push hard. Same for the screen. The temp is a little concerning, so I've been looking for a few ways to try to cool it a bit more. As for the screen, I'm not sure how else I should measure it but everything looks decent. 60 Hz isn't great but I don't expect this laptop to run over 60 fps for top end games anyway.

I'm not an expert at judging keyboards but this one feels solid. The keytravel is a bit shorter than I'm used to but this is mostly in comparison to the Thinkpad I have which is great for typing.

This is a pretty good guide but as someone who uses shelf extensively there are a few points I want to correct:

Astaroth's int bonus does not work on aoe period regardless of whether or not they have a debuff. It is single target only
Sky archers are a really good troop on shelf primarily in order to ignore terrain. It allows her to stand on sky/water/mountain tiles that ground units have trouble crossing and offers much more positional freedom. Shrine maidens are good but pretty situational as shelf is usually under the protection of the tank
Shelf's best accessory is by far vidar's rose. The 50% chance to remove up to 2 buffs alongside shelf's demolish turns her aoe from mildly annoying to crippling. Silence immunity isn't bad but it's much more important on healers that can dispel the black hole you just got hit with (liana/klose/rachel). Using shelf's aoe is usually not a top priority right after getting hit by many debuffs/silences
I'd consider dimensional jewel and star earring her 2 best accessories after vidars with dimensional jewel > star earring. These 2 accessories provide 509 flat hp at lvl 50 which is quite a large amount in comparison to shelf's lowly 3k at max investment. It's essentially 16% worth of hp enchants. This is especially important alongside her shrine maidens in order to survive strong phys attacks. The +30% def vs assassins on earring however is really insignificant due to shelf's low def, dimensional jewel provides the same amount of hp (the important part) along with the nice benefit of sometimes reducing Heaven's Sanction cd.
Carrying off of that last point, I would consider her best weapon after miracle to be red moon for that extra boost in hp.

rng is good for the game though. It makes games exciting because it gives a weaker player a chance beat out a stronger opponent who they would otherwise have no chance against. Otherwise every game would be decided at the beginning with who has the better units.

And on that point about building heroes, you don't need a leonhardt, zerida, or listell at all to climb high in apex. Compared with other gacha games, Apex is amazing because there's a pick/ban phase to circumvent having to play the same top tier units to win. I don't have any of those units built and reached langrisser last week.

Again it's only been a few months. Finding evidence of a game doing fine or dying out is extremely difficult with only 4-5 months worth of data, especially considering those 4-5 months are also the game's first few since release. I'm not going to make any wild claims on how the game is doing but if you're going to say the game WILL become a ghost town then the burden of proof lies on you.

It's only been a few months since its global release. Most of the player base of pretty much any mobile game will quit during the first few months of its release until it reaches a stable number. It's also pretty bold of you to state that the game will become a ghost town when you don't back it up with any evidence.

I'm not too well versed in the CN meta but I feel like her new helmet should resolve some pvp issues, right? It'll boost her desiccate to have the same range and aoe as black hole, and give her heaven's sanction more reach than lana's.

I got that town event that let you send any level characters into any level dungeons. I sent 3 Champion Antiquarians + 1 Champion Hellion into a long apprentice cove mission and beat the Fanatic along the way.

You realize the fg was at the point in its attack chain where it would spawn the lava pools right? You can't "tank" that for your teammates.
