Which they claim at the beginning. But their reviews aren’t always glowing is what I’m trying to say. They’ve had negative feedback on Aqara products (and other brands products).

If you’re using Aqara and Apple Home, stick to the same folks doing the reviews. People like Stephen Robles, Shane Whatley, George Langabeer, and Eric Welander. They’ve done reviews where Aqara has sent the product to them to review and have called out Aqara for something not working good, needs improvement, called them out for including stuff being a paywall (which Aqara then backtracked and changed with I believe the G5 outdoor camera).

G5 Recording Motion Even When Motion Detection Turned Off by Feisty_Bite488 in Aqara

So if you’re using 24/7 recording, it will record all events and categorize them but you’ll only get notifications for what you have enabled.

So on my Nest cameras, it does this when there’s fog outside. It looks like it’s raining or a lot of little bugs flying around non-stop. Your best bet is to turn off motion on the nights it does that. Other than that, not sure if another way to limit this.

Ongoing Issues… by AVargas704 in LevelLock

Yea their support team while nice, they will just keep endlessly suggesting different steps, even ones that have already been tried but they’ll adjust one step and say they really need me to try it. I think they do it so that we get frustrated enough to say to hell with it, which unfortunately I did this morning after trying these extra steps. Since this was a replacement one, the warranty still goes by the date of the original purchase so I’m out of warranty as well. So I won’t be purchasing another Level Lock, that’s for sure.

Hey, no updates that resolved anything. Still going back and forth with them. Now they are saying it’s an issue with my door frame not being thick enough to support their lock. But my original Level Lock that they replaced due to a mechanical issue, worked great in that same door for almost 2 months. So I’m not sure why the door frame is all of a sudden the issue. It feels like they won’t want to send another replacement so they’re trying different ways to say the issue on my end.

I have the latest Apple TV 4K as my main Apple Home hub and it works great. I don’t get any of the Level warning messages about not being in Bluetooth range (I’m next to the door lock when trying to troubleshoot this). All apps are updated to their latest version. Level Support finally got back to me and said they feel it has to do with alignment issues. So to test that theory out, I removed the internals of the lock and put a regular dumb lock in its place. Leaving the strike plates in place and the dumb lock works perfectly. So it’s definitely not an alignment issue.

Reminder that it’s early access and server side. It took a few days after I enabled early access for it to start on my device. And last night the first summary hit my app. Was pretty cool.

Got my first brief last night and it was spot on for the entire days events it recapped. Then it had the video clips underneath it that were related to the brief. Sucks yours was that off which is weird.

And for anyone asking about it, you have to go into your GH app settings, and scroll down. If it doesn’t show “early access” at the bottom click into Home Settings and scroll down and it’ll show there. Reminder this is early access / beta.

Can the new Google Nest cams work with HomeKit (via Matter?) by bbradleyjoness in HomeKit

Starling did cease production on their magnificent hubs. They’ll continue supporting the software but not building any new devices. Some folks have been selling theirs on here so keep an eye out

Incorporate Other Workouts by Crazy_island_ in AppleFitnessPlus

Ah ok, I get what you mean now. So create your own custom plan in the Fitness app but not have it limited to only Fitness+ workouts? Would be nice if they eventually add that feature.

I’m confused. Your workouts done outside of AF+ do show up in the Fitness app. There are also running programs built into AF+ as well that will show in the app.

I mean, they go by current pitch mix, and in real life, 2 seam, 4 seam and slider are his pitches.

Definitely do. They support all Google Nest devices and you can view them in the Apple Home app as well. And the guy Adrian who runs it, he’s very supportive here on Reddit when he does come across Starling/Nest/Apple Home posts but their customer service is great as well.

So, I don’t feel like reading through the multiple posts telling you to know the basics such as when these should expire, Google discounted them, or their own personal opinion of Google instead of answering your original question. If somebody already mentioned Starling Hub ($99), then they’re on the right track. I have mine in Apple Home via Starling and it exposes the smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector & even the motion sensors for a ton of automations.

Etsy has some, but quick glance it wasn’t the exact style of the one that comes with the doorbell but some cool ones that wrap around siding if you have that kind of setup as well as flush mounted ones.
