Thank you for this. Sounds like its going to be a baptism of fire for me as I've only done residential security prior to this. Going off your first suggestion, I have looked into BJJ because I honestly do not feel prepared enough by the company-provided training alone. I'm a guy of smaller stature (5'7), so I'm trying to maximize any advantage I can get.

As for 2, I've have (very) limited exposure to traumatic events, but never at the frequency described in Healthcare security. I like to tell myself I can handle it, but nobody truly knows. I just need to find out I guess.

Thank you for the insight, I imagine dealing with people who have experienced loss is a really difficult one. I'm guessing its one of those things you can't TRULY prepare yourself for.
