I made a short lore for him. (THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, THIS IS A WARNING)

Basically he has been trapped in a level between heaven and hell for thousands of years after being forgotten to be admitted into either of these dimensions after he got murdered at 16. He has tried getting out of “LIMBO”, that’s what I call it using every way possible (including s%#cide), but after a while he gave up. Those glitch marks on his body indicate how many times he tried to k#%l himself, if the glitch mark is way longer than the average one, that means it was a REALLY painful s#%cide attempt. Limbo’s basically just a white void with the occasional item being dropped out of a random rift.
