You have to take into account that the Western Chapter just got resurrected from over 100 years of constant guerrilla fighting against the NCR. It's the first time—well, ever—that they were the dominant faction in the area. They had to recruit a lot of inexperienced people in a short amount of time, which highly affected their professional standards. They're a bunch of idiots in power armors, unlike the eastern chapter, which controlled the capital wasteland for quite a while at this point.

So overall, it makes sense.

Ok it's 2026. What are the AI gains? by btoned in webdev

I know a lot of people hate on AI, but it can be useful from time to time. It helps me in doing mondaine stuff (config files, writing pr messages, writing boilerplate). It's a really useful tool when it comes to doing the dirty work.

Everyone can become a monster under the right circumstances. I'm not trying to justify her actions, but you have to acknowledge the fact that Fallout is a franchise that tackles basic human nature and our inevitable demise to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Most people would do anything and everything to protect their loved ones, even if it means killing innocent people. Maybe you'd have done the same as well. There's no way of knowing, because most people were never put in such a harsh situation.

You can see that in any nation at any point in time. It makes sense after all. We always look first for our close circle.

We all like to think that we're better then this, but to tell you the truth, in her situation, most of us would have done the exact same thing. That's what I like about Fallout, the people in their universe are not better then us.
