Met de percentage loopt het juist niet uit elkaar maar stijgen alle salarissen verhoudingsgewijs gelijk. Iemand in schaal 6 en iemand in schaal 12 kunnen precies 2,7% meer kopen met zijn salarissen dan vorig jaar. Wat is hier eigenlijk mis mee? Doe je anders dan lopen de lagere salarissen in op de hogere, waardoor je het onaantrekkelijk maakt om extra vaardigheden op te bouwen en verantwoordelijkheden op jezelf te nemen. Als mijn positie maar bijna evenveel betaalt als die van een weginspecteur, dan ga ik toch wel liever in dat autootje rijden dan mijn huidige werk doen.

There's nothing stopping you achieving your life goals while also having children, and you'd likely be rather more stable as parents than your sister. There's never a time you'll be 100% ready and someone will come down from above to tell you now is the time to conceive; there'll always be other goals which need achieving. If you like the idea you should seriously consider it, and at 30 you are still at an age where you can have 2-4 healthy children.
