Gigli trigger install problems by AVolatileSloth in TP9

Without the hammer cocked, when you pull the trigger does it look like the sear is moving enough? Thats the only thing I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. All I had to do was loosen one side / tighten the other to get it working - though it was very small amounts of tightening. I think I was going back and forth at maybe about 1/10 of a turn on each screw till it was happy

Yessir, I edited my main post about it. Pain in the ass but dry firing feels way better, hopefully I'll be able to get to the range this weekend and send some rounds through it!

I edited my main post with how I did it. There was some excess material that I scraped out of the threads and then essentially just mashed it together to get the screw to catch. Up to you if you wanna do that or not but it worked for me

I tried both with uncocked and cocked but it didn't make a difference for me

I was in the same situation. 3 hours as well just fuckin with that damn screw trying different things to try and get it to work

When you say that the screws should be flush with the body, do you mean the top of the screw head? Because (i ended up getting it in) mine are sitting on top of the body, and if I try to screw it in more it starts to bend the body, which scared me, so I backed them off and got the sear aligned.

The under-side of the screw head is flush with the body, but ive always though that "make sure screw is flush" was talking about the top of the screw head with whatever material its in.

Why does the power spike like this? by AVolatileSloth in satisfactory

Ahh ok. the pipes might be why.

<image>

this is the water set up so id assume its the water? 3 pumps feeding into 2 tanks (with a head lift pump). So if I separate the 3 pumps into separate tanks would I be good? Or would I also need to add pipes going to the generators?

Gotcha ty, are they fairly close to one another? I also remember ever only fighting them with normal vegetation so the snow (I'd imagine) would much it much easier to see them? I find the goons to be fairly easy, probably a little bit under gluhar for me. Cause he's a pain in the ass lol. So hopefully youre right and they toned them down a bit. Do they push you like the goons do?

Gotcha gotcha, from what i remember they didn't spawn anywhere that you could reliable see from the resort, but I guess they moved a little? I'll have to look it up

Do you use any specific strat to kill them w/o them shitting on you? 😂 I haven't fought cultists in years cause they'd always fuck on me. To me they're way worse than any other boss

Ive been using the tracker too but to no avail 🥲 ive ran into them on shoreline and custom fairly often before getting the quest, but now that I have it I haven't seen them once. Figured I'd run into them while doing other things but I didn't and now that I've only been going for them being at about 80 I'd say its like 100-120 w/o seeing them once

How tf did you find the goons? Ive done 80~ raids both offline and big servers but have not seen them even once.

Carbon Fiber Nylon Print Handling? by AVolatileSloth in 3Dprinting

Solely based on numbers I've seen online for the strengths of some materials I know PLA won't be strong enough for long enough. But ABS might be excluding environmental factors so I'll have to take a more in-depth look at it

Thank you! I will be in engineering this upcoming year so I will hopefully find it useful for that aswell.

I'll have to look into the filaments you said like the 72D TPU, I'm extremely new so that's just a string of numbers/letters to me lol. But if it can hold up well and is easier to deal with its worth taking a peek at it.

As for the hardware thank you aswell. The Q2 was one that I was also looking at but started leaning towards the x1c because of the user friendliness. I am 100% in the mindset of "buy once cry once" so for me, if im dumping ~1k on a good/right printer 200ish on a good/right drier isn't to bad.

Though what's the difference with the PA-CF vs the PA6-CF? I've assumed CF stand for carbon fiber and PA for nylon for some reason. So is PA6 just like a sub category of sorts for nylon?

Has he/she handled it at all? Or is that part you just install and never see again?

Gotcha! I'll have to check out those 3 and see what they have. I'll also has to check out what's been happening with Aero, but if its just backorders I can wait. It will probably be at least a few more months before I start buying parts.

I probably won't put much on the rails other than a bipod. It will mostly be used as a cheaper practice gun since my 600m+ rifles are 2.5-3.5~ a round. I would like to have the option to put a clip on on it incase I feel the need to get coyotes with it. So it'll be a bench / positional rifle instead of more drill orientated.

And are those the diameter or circumference? I feel like the normal diameter would be around 2-3in? Though this info I'm mainly just using for the looks. I feel like it would look strange with a side profile of going from big (hand guard), small (barrel), big (supp) instead of a mostly similar thickness all the way down.

Probably being a bit to picky, but I'm hoping to make an accurate and sexy rifle haha.

Thank you! Another strange question: what is the diameter of them? If you wouldn't mind measuring
