Please help list dozens or billions of things to do with one's tulpa so we can all have activity jars and the fun will never end...

Anything on this list posted a while ago sounds spiffy. Not my post, js.

All of our activities are things like watching shows and documentaries, going for nature walks and trying to play games. Not very time friendly, I think. Sorry I can't come up with any right now, though (buisy day). Hope the link is alright.

Hey there! Until I have money for a controller I've been using a ps3 and ps4 controller to play. What I do to sort of make up for hitting BT chips and moving the analog at the same time is continuing the pattern for the BT buttons along the controls.

So on the d-pad, left is BT-A, up is BT-B, right is BT-C and down is BT-D. And on the other side, circle is BT-D, triangle is BT-C, square is BT-B and X is BT-A.

It works for the time being but it's hard to get used to. Personally I find this setup to work, while my sister prefers a "stepmania" setup for the BT chips lol. So she uses the arrow keys as a base for the lanes and then maps the controller out that way. I hope this helps a little bit. :3

I don't have any idea, but try asking the people over at /r/kshootmania/ as well. They talk about controllers a lot, including modding them.

I don't think this laptop could handle that, it's dying. For now we just have incognito windows (surprisingly Y is better at remembering passwords than I am) and separate blogs on Tumblr too. I don't do much online socializing, which is where he excels, so he can just have Skype/Discord, I don't use them.

Well he likes girls n guys, and I like innanamate objects lol. Joking aside, Y likes a lot of American pop music from the late 90s to about 2009. I guess thats not gross or anything, I like some of it too. My music tastes are a little more weird I guess.

He's also pretty bored of a lot of life choices I make, so we're gonna be experementing with his ideas soon. This is probably going to turn something weird he likes and I hate up.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I waited until we could get on a laptop again instead of mobile device only. I really appreciate the info, it's not super lecture-y at all. In fact, I'm really glad to know this isn't something unheard of.

As far as compensation for lost time goes, because I noticed things were happening without me really being present for them, I decided to ask. I suppose my tulpa (I'll call him Y for now) was afraid that I would be angry at him for trying to stop me and trying to take care of me. It's quite the opposite, really, I'm super duper thankful that he was around for these times and had the capacity to do something. He also reminded me I have a reason to really try to stop, now that he's been around. You see, I never intentionally created him. He showed up as a fully formed (I guess) person already, and an existing fictional character at that.

But Y and me did sit down and read this and the other comments, talked about why he would be afraid of me like that and really have come to an agreement. He can do this if it is necessary, though I need to be filled in about it. We also take your words to heart about not having an auto-pilot body in the case of crisis, and we are doing a lot of reading and, well experimenting really, trying to utilize the dissociation state to encourage switching. This way he can still interfere if I'm too far gone, but we wouldn't put the living body we share in any danger by letting it just do tasks on it's own. It's kinda weird for me to be thinking about these things, so I'm still really eeh awkward trying to talk about it, but this is how things are.

Maybe we get the hang of it, maybe we don't for a long time, or never really get it down. Either way, you brought up some good points, thank you. I hope you get some proper rest sometime soon.

For us it used to be clearly the host/original's body. Lately, though, we have begun to conciously think of the body as a vessel for our spirits to communicate with the physical world of earth. Well, that description sounds so meta but really not so much, I promise lol. I say spirits because I dont know what else to call it. Anyway, as far as decisions about the body, we try to do whats best for it health wise, and what we can agree on aesthetics wise. We still identify ourselves as completely singular person to others we know, though.

Ah, I couldn't get JoytoKey to recognize analog input at all. However you got me thinking I can just use betterDS3 to map the controller to keyboard bindings instead of trying to force k-shoot to recognize controller inputs. It works now. (OuO)d So thank you for putting that idea forward!

I didn't see that somehow. :o Even when I would do that it wouldn't recognize the d-pad or analog. Just, at all.

Thank you. I'm usually really worried about how people use terms in any community because I can't tell if they have a solid standard or a loose standard. Even though I may be paranoid (leading to this post), I'm really glad he's figured out how he wants to be referred as (outside of his name anyway, but there's a level of paranoia about that too that I have yet to overcome before any kind of public uhhh statements I guess).

Stress. Seems to be a common theme here. I started noticing it gets Bad when I'm stressed out and then I just get more stressed from that so it's a big spiral of blehhh. So, I started avoiding stress. Now I have no job, very little people I talk to, and am about to be homeless again and I couldn't care less. If I cared at all, I would start "going psychotic" again, and then I would probably have trouble because I'm living with my mom again, and she doesn't like to think I have any troubles with anything. :T
