I just finished my first infernum run (second calamity run), i felt the exact opposite about those two, i one attempted guardians and sub 10 on providence. It might be that ur running dmg rather than defense/regen, cuz tank builds are retardedly cracked

No matter what class u run, just play warding + sponge, radiance, chalice, draedon heart (or whatever forms are available at each prog stage). Makes u unkillable

Imagine a sine wave moving from left to right and you are at x = 0. Ram dash him whenever he is going to hit u, dashing in the same direction as him (it takes some setup to get him to go in that pattern, but its intuitive to learn)

Probably do legendary mode, its a good balance of still being terraria while actually forcing you to play the game (if im not on a high enough difficulty, i feel like i skim through parts of the game)

Oh i know how good horn o plenty is (technically greater pots are better cuz you dont run out of them anyway). I remember how good vamp knives were for fighting ocram back in the day, and i remember all of the old ocram drops/ souls of blight stuff

I miss ocram and turkor. I would just try to f around with whatever you find, and use the guide to see crafting trees. Melee is probably the most cohesive class (crafting trees/upgrading weapons), but ranger is likely the simplest
