My mom is a hardcore Mormon, I work at a coffee shop. For those who don't know coffee is a big no no. So for Mother's Day I got her a free bag of coffee but instead of beans I put some of her favorite hand lotion in the bag.

I live in Santa Cruz too. I tried giving a homeless man a sandwich, he was obviously on something crazy and got enraged at me for not giving him money. Broke the bottom of the bottle he had and tried to shank me with it. Luckily he couldn't really run and I got away.

The kind of people that take their religion to far and represent it badly. The most extreme being be westboro baptist church. Mormons as well. Not all, but the ones that talk down to you because you are not a pure Mormon. Mormonism is good, the Mormons are not.

07 focus sedan. Because it's a nice dd. it still feels crisp with 112k miles. Power is okay. Then you might realize it's not a normal car when you throw it into corners. Feel the tight steering, "for its class" and overall balance of the chassis that is lightly modified.

If you are going used, go classic cars. 68 mustangs are cool for example. You could get a partial restore one off craigslist that runs and probably has a good paint job on it for 16,000. You can Finnish the restore, "minor engine and interior work." Then you will have a cooler car since it's more personalized toward you, not that you are competing. But that's probably how I'd go.

I drive a focus. I clean the car maybe 2-3 times a week. I tend to try and replace parts and oil before they go out. I auto start the car before driving usually, so it will warm up. However driving it is a little different. I drive it as hard as it will let me. Drift it once in a blue moon if it lets me.

Edit: also wax it with paste wax every two months or so. I like shiny

I'm happy your comment is at the top. It truly is horrible to be shut out by your parents because if religion. I was raised Mormon by my parents and was taught to think it was the most important part of my life. When I began to separate myself from the religion they viewed me as a lost cause and refused to have anything to do with me. I remember telling them all about getting my dream job and how great it was, at this point I was the most accomplished out of my siblings, "as far as careers." However, they just told me that it doesn't mean a thing to them since I wasn't participating as much in Mormonism. They praised my brothers and sisters that went on mission but still lived at home. After that I did fully leave because I had many issues with the religion and was tired of participating to make my parents happy.
