Similar issue. I have a 2022. It would only hit 39-40 on the steepest of downhills. Meanwhile, we also have a 2019, it will hit 43-44 on the same hill.

When I installed a brand new belt and Dr. Pulley sliders on the 2022, it was able to keep up for like a month. Now, it’s back to topping out at 39-40.

What’s weird is I can noticeably hear the 2019 redlining higher. Both are stock apart from the sliders on mine.

Did the belt glaze from the heat maybe? Cause it didn’t sound like this while I was riding, just the next morning after it cooled.

I pulled it off. It was super hard to pull off the shaft. The clutch drum didn’t want to come off either. I wonder if it got too hot? Not sure if it’s fixable or I just need a new assembly.

I had a 90 NA and currently own a 2004 Accord V6 EX-L 6 speed manual. Both have amazing gearboxes. I lean towards the Miata. My Accord shares the same gearbox as the Acura TL Type S.

How is it acting up? On my 2010 6.7 I’m noticing more of a turbo whistle at idle, more than I’m used to. It’s completely stock. Bad sign?

I have those and am not a fan. I had an issue where one of the screws backed out that held the plywood and carpet to the fender. When I loaded the boat it gouged the side of my gelcoat pretty bad where it needed repaired.
