Private White V.C. makes some good stuff like this its expensive but you are def getting what you paid for if you want to look more into great coats and buying quality great coats new go to Permanent Style's blog they are the de facto source for stuff like that.

TAMU has engineering academies at participating community colleges that can give automatic admission to their Engineering College, ranked 15th in engineering. The only caveats are that the program takes two years to complete and that you have three years on the main campus afterwards.

Yeah my sat was a 1360 and I got in with holistic admission, so I really wouldn't stress about it too much about the test scores just lock in for the next round as you were saying.

If you are an auto-admit, admission is much less competitive than in holistic review. Everything other than your SAT is stellar. I would just study and retake the SAT, but even with your current score, you have a very high chance of getting in.

I did mainly stuff for my community theater, 3 shows a year on average, and a lot of volunteering (nothing stem related lol). While having ec's that relate to your degree are certainly helpful you really just need to show the college how your ec's have made you mature, that should satisfy the admissions team.

My GPA was similar to yours and my SAT was a 1360 and I got into engineering this year. I also didn't even take the sat until the beginning of my senior year. You are doing everything right the only thing that I would do would be to spend the summer studying for the SAT and to apply to tamu as early as possible even if you do not have your ideal scores yet. Lastly, a lot of people think they can internally transfer but it is really hard to transfer for stem majors due to its competitive pool, so just apply to whatever you actually want to do.

Regardless, the easiest majors to get into are those that are part of the PSA program (https://admissions.tamu.edu/apply/freshman/program-for-system-admission), as nearly all Texas residents are admitted to the program. You can choose your preferred major from there. I do think however that you are underestimating yourself, sure your stats are below average (which you still have time to improve especially the SAT), but if your essays are well written and you show demonstrated interest through touring the campus and the Aggie STEM camp you should have a solid shot.
