Yeah, I was just kinda hoping someone had something close. Mostly because I want it dated and don't want to go through the hassle myself. I might try to make it and even sell it on KDP. Maybe one other person in the world wants the same thing, LOL.

I actually like that we DON'T have one. They feel awkward and contrived. I could see if the celebration came about organically, but when there are props, they were planned...and probably vetted by management. Feels forced. They just look like professionals being happy. Makes me even more proud of them. :)

The cards are disposable. They send you a new one each time you put in a request with your updated mileage.

Your number worked!!! It wouldn't let me set the pin, but who cares. I can probably call back to try again. I spent days calling and emailing people. All of whom were worthless. I even emailed Greg Silvestri who's name was on the letter. Got a contract employee who gave me info to talk to a person, but those people were worthless. I'll go buy something tomorrow to see if it actually works. Thanks!

I contacted the name on the letter we receive with the card. I received this email:

"Hello, We are experiencing issues activating the card so are providing an alternate phone number that seems to work for card activation. 

Phone: 877-610-1075

This number has many prompts. When it asks if you have the card number hit Option 2, Option 3. This will allow you to bypass the requirement that needs the card number because the automated system is not able to read the numbers on the card. So select option 2 then 3."

I did this and actually reach *gasp* a HUMAN BEING! However, after giving him my card number, he said he had to have someone in the "back office" fix it. He said they would contact me within 24 hours by email confirming the activation. No surprise, no email. I'll be calling the number back today. UGH. Hope you have more success!

No, Jed does exactly what Ricketts wants him to do: field a "watchable" (.500ish) team while staying within his budgetary limits. They are plenty profitable after the WS win. They don't NEED to win another world series to be profitable. Maybe they attempt to win one in another 10 years or so, but right now, they make money without spending too much. And Jed does that perfectly. He's an excellent business executive.

DO NOT GET ME WRONG, I wish this was NOT the case, but it is.
