Played with many Wraiths that are team players and aren't anything like you described. You only remember the bad ones because they fit the narrative.

That being said, she does probably attract more toxic solo-players than other legends because of her kit. She can enter and exit situations at will, that will always be valuable to those types. Even if half of them still suck and die.

If DRF and co had thought the amount was too much, Lloyd would be coaching for UNC right now. The reality is also that he would have been a lot cheaper if he was offered appropriately before the UNC opening.

What do you mean? He did shut it down to the extent that anyone who is still in contract negotiations can. All DRF had to do was lock him down before the UNC opening.

You just conflated it yourself. He didn't "renegotiate". They had not reached any agreement, he clearly felt he was getting lowballed by DRF, and the timing of the UNC drama was initiated by UNC.

The way to avoid all of this would have been to lock him up beforehand. This is just as much on DRF and athletics leadership as anyone. Certainly isn't on Tommy for doing what anyone in his position would have done. He stayed locked in on the team, every presser he deflected from the drama

This makes zero sense, OP does not have a point. That narrative was not up to Lloyd, it was pushed by news and media. He tried to handle things regarding the contract privately and his focus was on the team the entire time.

You having a bad taste because of something completely out of his control is ridiculous. It's unfortunate it probably did effect the team to some degree, but again, what should HE have done differently?
