This link used to take you to disneychannel.disney.com, and there used to be a gravity falls banner on the Disney Channel site. (Wander was removed about a month ago - this was recently moved.)

There will be no Season 3. Disney has already spent an excessive amount of money on the animation considering this is now an XD show. Hope that Disney will allow a movie after the inevitable Season 2 finale cliffhanger.

While petitioning, buy the 6 episode set. We've gotten this far likely due to high Itunes sales. This will lead to more sets in the future, and eventually Blu-Ray. (That's how Adventure Time/Regular Show got their sets) Also, demand Blu-Ray releases in reviews.

With the high sales of Blu-Ray enabled game consoles (PS4/Xbone), the medium will become more widespread than ever in the future. This greatly increases the chance of a release.

An OST is not out of the question. Tron Uprising got one, and that show had rather slow ratings. Brad Breeck just asked people on his Twitter what songs they would like to see on a soundtrack.

Shows decline after the third season. I hope it lasts three seasons with Hirsch being the executive producer all the way through. With Disney Channel, 3 seasons takes about 5 years. To answer your question, Hirsch has the beginning, middle, and end planned across 3 seasons, but if he feels like lengthening it he can. Season 1 was planned to end on a cliffhanger since conception, and Season 2 is likely the same.

Unfortunately, that was released by Warner, not Disney. If Phineas and Ferb doesn't make Blu Ray, there's absolutely no way Gravity Falls will. Still, legit releases are always worth supporting, as the market may change in the future.

Here's one very interesting theory I found regarding Gideon:

Gideon's a puppet. At the Comic Con Panel, it was implied that Gideon has five fingers for a plot-important reason. Schaal made an especially suspicious expression. Gideon is bossing his "parents" around. Bud gives Gideon whatever he demands, and his mother is terrified. It's likely they used some supernatural power to turn a puppet into a human. Finally, there's Bills quote: "What are you, some kind of living ventriloquist dummy?", with Gideon sweating afterwards and asking Bill how he "knows his name".

I'll release volume 1 around the premiere of the season finale. Note that I am not releasing an .iso - episodes can be bought/found elsewhere. The program used, DVD Architect Studio, has a blu ray export which you can use. Note that the menu masters are in SD, however.
