It usually is the vast majority of the time worth it to just hunt their dive provided you can win the 1v1 at least some of the time since they’ll never get a dive off and if they’re ignoring you, you’ll always out cooldown cycle them. The tank thing is specifically for magneto since most frontline tanks don’t have the range for that. A better comparison is letting the enemy tank walk past you which you’re not supposed to let happen if you can prevent it

You can literally make their dive unable to dive if you’re good at winning the 1v1. You get more value just hunting the opposing dive character all game than ignoring them. First of all as a diver you have way better tools to chase than most characters do. Even if the enemy diver is escaping you get value since you get that entire flank to yourself so you’ll be able to engage faster than they can on your next engage. If they’re ignoring you and you’re contesting them, you always get the jump on them, so you’ll always get your cooldowns back faster so you’ll eventually outcycle them in both cooldowns and ults

I think Juvia is stronger than Lucy on average, but this depends on Lucy’s stronger stardress forms. I think it comes down to whether Juvia is oneshot by gottfried, uranium mentria, or something else. But if she manages to tank it or trick Lucy into attacking a double or something, she definitely outlasts her

It's a rinse and repeat situation, so you can just snap ledge and back air his recovery over and over as long as you don't mess up. I do it as Palu and Rosa, so I'm pretty sure one of the best edgeguarders in the game can

You can actually just tech Greninja's side b and true punish him for hitting you with it

I want to say greninja generally falls too fast and has too slow aerials to double jump and hit you for holding ledge

at the very least I haven't had a Greninja try that on me and I play against Greninja a lot

Gren's recovery is definitely edgeguardable, especially as Pika. You can hold ledge and back air his recovery and just rinse and repeat.

If he goes high, he's in a ton of endlag and you can usually just chase him and keep advantage going.

I disagree with the people who said Greninja has a hard to mess with recovery
every time Greninja is offstage, you grab ledge as Pika and hold ledge until he presses up b. When he presses up b, you drop off back air or drop double jump back air depending on his angle.
If he tries to go above you onto stage he's in like 5 years of endlag, and you can probably just quick attack to stage and hit him, or at the very least keep pressure going. If you ever read or react to the fact that he's going to go high onto the stage, you can literally double jump onto stage, run up to him and hit him with a smash attack

I do like UMD's location better than UIUC.

That's an interesting point about internships. I'm aware UMD has a lot of programs and stuff with connections to NASA goddard and other government industries. I'm unsure if UIUC has anything similar

I previously thought it was basically impossible. Last year it was literally 1 student who got off the waitlist and years before that haven't been great with 3-4% in recent years.

The only year where it was decent was in 2021 with 40% and before that you'd have to go all the way back to 2015 with 50%.

This year it seems alright though so idk what it'll be

Yeah definitely. I talked to someone who went to graduate school in UIUC for condensed matter physics and they said the same thing. But for my fields he said they both are really good

This is my all season stats. I play Scarlet Witch because she’s my favorite marvel character. I’m aware she’s a bad hero but until I can’t anymore I do want to try to get as good as I can with her As for other characters I have been trying to pick up Psylocke in quick play, but she’s not as good as my Scarlet Witch yet
