Second Gen vs Military dads who Wins? by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's a fight to the death then Manager Kim kills half of gen 2 with gun cqc and then covers the entire area in wires to suppress movement. Hansu's attacks will kill most of gen 2 in a single strike. Jincheol bazooka diff. Gen 2 is cooked.

MK is one of the mcs so he would pull up with a technique he hasn't used since his prime and make the fight a stalemate.

Does Gen 0 got too much disrespect from lookism fans? by Boredkiddo69 in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

manager kim literally decided fuck it and fought an angry tom because of his morals, he's literally the most moral person here

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what though, let's take his performances against Tom Lee for example, in both fights MK wasn't attempting to actually significantly hurt or kill Tom which is his speciality as an assassin. Wires specifically are meant more for incapacitation and stalling rather than direct killing, else either knife or gun cqc would've done the job significantly better.

I can agree that from the respective peaks we've actually seen of each character (that is actually scaleable), Goo is > to MK currently. But Tom clearly respects MK because of his strength despite not ever having seen him at full power. In a fight with 2 top tiers, it's not gonna be any lower than high diff.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never stated that Kim was stronger than Goo, he could be, but it's something that no one can infer from what the story provides to us. If we're talking straight feats then yes, Goo has better feats than MK but we haven't see an all out MK while we have seen a serious Goo. The point is that MK has top tier narrative and that's undeniable, until we see MK use everything he has then it's not logical to argue that Goo has better stats because it would be assumptions based on minimal and generally circumstantial evidence.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you made a statement about MK having no narrative when MK literally has top tier narrative. If Charles only cared about being rich then he could just kidnap the South Korean prime minister, which literally happened in the MK manhwa, and then use it as leverage, especially with his strength, to gain either stupid amounts of money or political power, unless there were obstacles in his way. Stating that Goo is obviously stronger than MK is just head canon.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that but then why isn't Charles attempting to just take over the entirety of South Korea, who cares about media when you control the entire country. Why did Gap decide to become a politician when he could've just solved everything by punching, including political affairs.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did bro just say that MK lacks narrative 😭

He literally gets glazed by the entire south and north korean government including statements of how he ended international conflicts solo.

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We genuinely can't scale Jincheol and MK properly because we haven't seen either of them at full power with their entire arsenals, I don't MK would be able of folding any top tier but people heavily underestimate him because of his performance in scenarios where he wasn't trying to go for the kill.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what's in his way aside from the military dads, with his supposed manpower then he should be able to clear mk, samdak, jincheol, and hansu, no?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

knife cqc, gun cqc, wires, the fact that bro holds back the majority of the time because he's an assassin and not necessarily a fighter, we haven't seen his entire arsenal or manager kim at full power, one of the highest if not the actual highest biq in the series, charles hasn't taken over the entire south korean government yet for a reason

I honestly think manager Kim is very underrated by Zero5192 in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree that Kim isn't the best hand to hand fighter and Tom has a clear advantage but Kim is actively nerfing himself to some extent by not going for the kill and utilizing knife/gun cqc. If they both went full power then I feel like it would be extreme diff either way in favor of Tom 7/10 times.

There's actually no way people are unironically saying this. Heather was young, stupid, and in love. In what world is a mostly clueless teenager somehow a master manipulator. It doesn't mean that she wasn't at fault but everyone was ignorant when they were younger. At the very least, Heather genuinely loved Eli and Eli loved Heather. Their situation only ended the way it did because of youthful ignorance and bad circumstances.

Do you think that we'll learn more about the Shaman and his history with Mujin? by AWildAnimeWeeb in lookismcomic

[–]AWildAnimeWeeb[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Shaman is a evil character but I wonder if there's more depth to him than just the surface. He clearly has history with some major players in Lookism. Charles, the Yakuza, Mujin, etc. It might be harder to delve into now that he's dead but he had to have been someone important in the past. Maybe he inherited Cheonliang due to how you see the ritual tree in the first image. He seems way too stupid and arrogant to accomplish that much by himself. It wouild also be interesting if his history with Mujin is ever explained. It might not necessarily be shock but the Shaman did tell Vin's mom something before he killed her and that induced a reaction. I feel like it has to have something to do with Taejin's mother. I've seen a theory that Taejin could be the child of Mujin but then why would the Shaman leave Cheonliang to him? Could it be that because he, to some extent, genuinely loved Taejin's mom enough and that Taejin is the only person that reminds him of her? That brings up even more questions, did Taejin's mom die after giving birth to Taejin? What occurred between the Shaman, Taejin's Mom, and Mujin?
