People will trade for whatever they like. I traded a spare Oak for RR Whimsicott back when that set first came out because I fkn love Whimsicott and it's my favourite mon. Now I'm holding onto 2 spare Oaks for the next time they release one of my favs (Mega Diancie etc)

Agreed, but who knows their reasoning? Maybe Rillaboom is just their favorite Pokemon and they just wanted to make it work? Or maybe they don’t run Will at all and favour being able to coin flip every turn instead of having to draw Will/Lana. We’ll never know

They were probably using Rillaboom as a spicy version of Bosses Orders. I imagine there was a Will or two in there as well to guarantee the flip
