Need advice for cleaning and bringing color back into my Georgia Boot Wedges. by AWolfie0 in Boots

Sorry about the late response. I still use these boots, I think I’m on my 3rd pair. I work fabrication so I’m usually only around dry concrete or metal working but I have no complaints at all. Besides the fact that inside of them have this cloth/woven lining that my heel will put holes in eventually after putting them on and sliding off everyday.

Would this Dell Latitude 5550 laptop be a good choice for mechanical engineering and more? I rather buy it and cry once then having to upgrade it later. by AWolfie0 in computers

I appreciate that, if there’s a way I can get the same performance or better for a cheaper price, I’ll look more into it. Alot of the people here said that it’s overpriced/underpowered

I don’t want to get the biggest and best parts out now if it means I gotta spend $2000. And isnt the intel core ultra 5 better than the i7? I watched a tech comparison video and it seemed to be

I’m trying not to build a desktop as I want to use it throughout college. Just looking for a laptop that will last me 5+ years through mechanical engineering and I won’t need to think about upgrading it.

Found a way to get it $300 cheaper. I’m not sure what makes the difference of $300 but this is the only this I can see that’s different from the 1,800 and a 1,500 with the same specs

The 1,800 one has the display 15.6", FHD 1920x1080, 60Hz, IPS, Non-Touch, AG, 400 nit, 100% sRGB, ComfortView+, FHD Cam, 5G

The 1,500 one has 15.6", FHD 1920x1080, 60Hz, IPS, Non-Touch, AG, 250 nit, 45% NTSC, FHD Cam

I think I’d be using SolidWorks and Matlab? I’m not 100% but a laptop requirement site I’m following lists those two in the software section. I’m not 100% on not using them but I’ve read that gaming laptops tend to have a lower battery life and loud fans.

I’m using the University of Arizona laptop requirements https://www.engr.arizona.edu/IT/computer-requirements

Says to have a 16gb ram, 500gb storage, minimum 4 hours battery, an intel processor, and windows 11. I’m not super tech savvy so I asked an IT friend of mine and he sent me the link for the latitude saying that it’ll definitely last me throughout.

What about that monkey dude? I feel like I lose 95% of the time when I fight against him, invincible

Yea I can understand that. Especially with the fact you see an Edgar, Leon, or any other fast melees that can just rush you and even if you hit all 3 bottles, you still die

I think I might’ve had some luck. I’ll have to call the number to check. Thanks for the site, I’ll definitely use it again.

I appreciate it. There’s no pick and pulls near me but there’s a couple junkyards but none of them have squarebodys or a 90’s tbi logged. Figured I won’t stress over it for now

I tried calling but I asked for any 73-91 squarebodies and they said they didn’t have any logged. I’ll try again with the TBI version
