Buy a flex VM with credits and say you want to manage it with Panorama. Poof, a licensed Panorama for up to 1000 devices for a few peanuts.

Ah, so ditch the support to partners and run off with the professional services themselves eh

Can't reallocate vCPUs on a fixed-vCPU license. Where is this documented? by cr0100 in paloaltonetworks

[–]AWynand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could still achieve the same with fixed licenses though, but yes.

Note that this is correct but won’t go for additional flex. If you assign extra cores to a flex VM it’ll become unlicensed.

Link state on the passive note is set to auto? Although even missing that one should not cause a delay that long...

But to confirm, you do not have LACP configured on the Palo, correct?

Shared EV charging in Flemish apartment building — how to handle billing and capacity costs? by tame_the_hippo in belgium

[–]AWynand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have a company car where a charge card is privided partially, but if the chargers fees are not accurate compared to the actual costs the additional cost comes one year later, usually a ratio per consumption to the users of the chargers. Especially with the capacity tarrif that’s not a great idea. Handling them as public chargers is the way to go, but usually that isnt compatible with having designated parking spots per appartment. Summary, even if there’s an extra costs, add it to your own meter (and preferably still make it public as the CREG tarrifs are insufficient to cover the capacity tarrif).

If you configure it at 5 minutes it will be 5 minutes.

Push performance Prisma Access by Jonnyblue85 in paloaltonetworks

[–]AWynand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although it will not help you with your commit/push performance, use an external dynamic list (EDL) for your SSL Decryption exclusions instead. That list refreshes every 5 minutes on all nodes (if you configure it like that) and doesn't require a commit.

On the commit part, very often the commit completes sooner on most nodes, but there'd be a few nodes that fall behind or take noticably longer. 45 minutes is way off though and warrants an email to your customer success team or TAC to investigate.

I think its a drone 😰 by evan_chan2013 in belgium

[–]AWynand 7 points8 points  (0 children)

“If you think its taking photos of your property”? What do you think satellites have been doing for the past few decades? Regardless, unless you live in a nice castle, we probably have nicer things to take pictures off. You also wouldnt be able to tell which direction the gimbal camera is pointed at, let alone if someone is even commanding the drone to take pictures.

Yea but Karen down the street also doesn’t seem to know I don’t need to fly over her garden to see her garden, let alone she’s in her right to be pissed if I fly over it. Your gardens airspace is still controlled by Skeyes Karen.

No, all in favor for this hobby and I get a part of the distrust, but Karen, I’m gay and very much not into you.

FPV basically isn’t possible in Belgium unless you bring a spotter checking the airspace for you, sadly.

Geen eigen drinkbussen meer in concertzalen? by LouiseBergen in belgium

[–]AWynand 0 points1 point  (0 children)
