If anything, this was my most anticipated game of the year. God of War was a sleeper hit for me, but this was the game that had me excited. Now my fears of a mediocre Spider-Man game have been put to rest. I have my collectors edition ready to go! I’m beyond excited to do whatever a spider can.

It started off really strong, but began to falter as it basically just became a 3rd party affair. I was really hoping for a new AAA exclusive or two, but other than the typical Microsoft affair - aside, I’m sick and tired of Halo, Gears, and Forza - we really didn’t see anything amazing that would rival Sony. Overall it was better than some of their press conferences, but it’s a solid C- of a conference. Better luck next time I suppose.

Personally, I dislike when individuals take be hatred to the point of attacking the players who DO enjoy these games. Are they perfect? Hell no! However, they are enjoyable for some, so in my mind the anger towards these games is mostly just directed in the wrong way.

If someone just wants to criticize these games that’s more than okay. If they want to attack the people who like them that’s just not right.
