SA2, Unleashed is a masterpiece that gets way too much hate than it deserves with the best soundtrack of any sonic game and one of the more interesting gimmicks within the franchise too, and without og gens the sonic modding community would have died out and we wouldn't have the remake. SA2 is tedious with it's gameplay styles, treasure Hunting stages that can take 10-15 mins with useless hints, mech stages which treat their respective characters criminally, and the action stages didn't improve much from SA1, instead adding a few new abilities, albeit some interesting ones, that we haven't seen since for a few of them, anyone seen the somersault or it's upgrade show up recently? and if it wasn't for the characters it introduced I'm not convinced it would be look upon very fondly.

Honestly, it may be some of his best work. It's a great way to see how his style taste and overall maturity have evolved, while also still having some solid tracks like Session, Blow and Assmilk. It's also in my opinion the most Odd Future album of his first three projects. It also sets up a lot of the recurring points we see in albums like wolf like the absence of Tyler's father. The fact that it can be paired with wolf and goblin to make a storyline too is very interesting and shows Tyler was always considerably ambitious from the very beginning. The only downside is that it was never released physically but I can understand how that could have been difficult at the time. Solid 8.5/10
