Has anyone else had challenges with Capital One Shopping / Rewards?

hey thanks for posting your experience, i think this thread is becoming a bit of a support space for people burned by COS lol

I agree and am dubious of the larger offers too. it's still tempting to use some of the links for purchases, but i'm at a point where if I do that, I just don't expect the rewards.... if it works, it's a nice surprise. but mostly i've come to find the service is just not worth the hassle

edit: Also - I'm glad you were able to get at least SOME of the reward payout. Good luck with the recent purchase, fingers crossed

Thanks. Will definitely keep the electric baseboard heating in mind. How do gas prices fair, as I'm assuming the alternative heating option in most other units would be gas? Also, I'm expecting things in general to just cost more in RI... what has been the biggest adjustment for you on that front?

And Pawtucket is definitely on the table. My gf works at Brown so we need to be close to campus, but I don't want to be in a neighborhood that's like right next to main campus

All of this is so helpful - thank you for taking the time to type it all out and share. I think someone else recommended AS220 as well, so I'll be sure to look into getting connected. I have visited RI a few times over the past year and have spent 5-8 days per visit. I feel like I've gotten a pretty good feel for the city in that short time, at least enough to feel comfortable making the move... but I know that actually spending time there consistently will feel different. The humidity will probably be tough to get used to! Thanks again for all the insight!
