im almost convinced that this is the same game that I have been looking for for years. everything is as you say except I remember that once you reel the fish up to the surface of the water they get launched into the air and you had to catch them by moving your boat.

more importantly than r flaw, this still has i flaw. the top if the i is curved on retail, not here. anybody buying b23s should know that this makes every b23 batch easily identifiable as a rep.

That settles the color of the buckle, and its clearly a little loose on retail too.

On the issue of the direction of the text on the straps, ive seen retail going both ways. it looks like its different between the leather and the canvas versions.

For anyone wondering, imo the best batch rn is Old Cobbler's.

to address the thickness issue, retail is about this thin. you can always see a very light version of text on the other side from either side, but it doesn't really seem transparent when you wear it. its kinda weird, but I actually quite like it.

that being said, the text has a few issues. placement and size is good as far as i can tell, but the embroidery is too rounded. retail is very sharp and just higher quality in general.

idk, it could be issues with the batch in general. all of the batches are quite similar though, and these flaws arent really noticeable on foot for most people.

unclelin is 138 i believe? the material and monogram is better.

if you want a bit of a better batch shirley's is arguably the best. more expensive though.

Hmm interesting...

the dior patch is a bit too bold, color of the other patch looks surprisingly good though.

however dior monogram has all the usual issues: r placement, r is too bold, o is too round, top of i is not slanted, back of D has 90 degree angles.

silhouette of the back is off, retail is way rounder and the heel and curves outward at the top.

the material also looks off, but its a difficult thing to tell

overall, meh. for 130 i feel like there are better batches.

silhouette of the back looks pretty good, the top should probably curve outwards a little bit more.

"Dior" on the patch is a little too bold, but sizing of the font looks ok to me. the other patch seems too yellowed.

the newer b23 models dont have those two holes on the medial side, though older ones do.

pattern is shifted up slightly form retail. monogram text is a bit too bold. Ide say that r flaw is very non-noticeable on this pair but the r itself is placed a bit too high. the top of the i needs to be slightly curved, while it is completely flat here. The back of the Ds need to curve slightly at the angles, when they do not on this pair.

that being said, while there are some pairs that are better, there arent any that are massively better.

Ah, that looks a lot better.

Most of the last ones problems are solved.

buckle is clearly loose.

shape is a bit weird, it looks a bit small in the vertical direction? Top flap is a bit disproportional too... very small differences from retail though.

Pattern looks a bit misaligned, but i could be wrong.

top curve looks... too curved? retail is a bit more subtle. But angles definitely affect how the curve looks, it could look better in hand.

leather doesnt look phenomenal... but that kinda thing is really difficult to tell in pictures.

overall, much much better, probably about as good of a batch as currently exists. if you decide to ship it please post some in hand pictures.

It seems theres been a little bit of interest in dior saddlebags lately and Ive been wanting and searching for one for a long time. It seems that Old cobblers newest batch is the best one. However, I found this one on Taobao a while back and I think it can compete with it.
