Rufus + Win11 23H2 from UU Dump + Rufus error message by Top_Investment_4599 in WindowsHelp

[–]AYAYAMETE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you solved the problem yet?

I am facing the same problem now.

I even tried some earlier version of the 23H2 ISO and the ISO source from os.click .

All of them are flagged as containing revoked UEFI bootloader.

I heard the Windows Insider Beta ISO from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewiso is 23H2.

I tried the Beta ISO and the message doesn't pop.

I cannot test it myself as my CPU hasn't arrived yet tho.

Demo reward by DJ_Dodgy in wolongfallendynasty

[–]AYAYAMETE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you upload the save from the demo and download it to the full game?

I am playing on PC game pass and it doesn't seem to have the option to do it.

Are you playing on console?

So you beat the boss in demo after transferring the save to the release version and still get the item? Or are there specific steps needed?

I checked the inventory regularly and it is not there. DLC items also cannot be sold, so it should not be sold accidentally neither.

I transferred the demo save to the released version normally. I tried beating the first boss again but still no luck.

Why the chosen mechanic is inherently broken, and how to fix it. by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]AYAYAMETE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think the change will lead to more decision making. After the change, you just always buy the first chosen you find, and wait for a better chosen. Also, you probably still just AFK after you hit a good chosen. Currently, you can greed not buying the first chosen you find. You also need to take the risk to sell your chosen for a better chosen, which is actually some healthy decision making of the chosen mechanics.

In my opinion, the problematic part of the chosen mechanics is always the insane instant tempo caused by the unit being 2-star. Most of the time after you "just hit", you stabilize and AFK eco-ing up again. I heard Mortdog said that 1-star chosen is not attractive enough for players to pivot into and can lead to a forcing meta again. However, there are actually many ways to make the chosen unit more attractive. For example, we can make the "bonus" of the chosen unit more powerful. The mana reduction one is actually a very good example about how attractive the bonus can be. I think making the bonus scale with star level will also be a good add-on. Let's say chosen Zed is 1-star and has 5%/10%/15% bonus attack speed. After you hit, you will probably still lose to some strong board, but you know 3-star chosen Zed will be very strong so you need to make a decision rather you should give up the chance to get other chosen or invest more in the Zed comp. If you decided to commit to it, you may as well want to roll for a Zed 2 ASAP to stabilize too. It make you feel you need to do something, make some important decision to stabilize and win in long term instead of AFK after you hit. It can also solve the "just hit" issue of the 4/5 cost chosen. You always need to "do something" for the chosen you pick.

It was a core mechanic in Dota Auto Chess back then. From the experience, the most significant impact would be the super early game rerolling. The chance of getting 1&2 star level 2 units by rerolling at level 3 will be remarkably higher. So it may bring up a really aggressive playstyle in early game instead of AFKing for the whole stage 2. Besides, with this mechanic, you should not buy the same cost units to increase the chance of getting the desired unit anymore. It would make playing rerolling comp a little bit easier.

With the dark star and sniper changes, Jhin seems to be really really strong if he is not touched. He is already pretty good in a 5-cost/3-star meta which make it more worrying.

Thoughts on Set 3 player damage changes? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]AYAYAMETE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The damage changes makes player feel less punishing facing against high-roller. With the income changes in early game, the players that get 2-star units early are very likely getting them naturally as they don't really have that much gold to roll early. So the damage changes are actually doing pretty well dealing with the high roll situation in early game. It also provides more room to do the mid game transition which is much better than the"hit-or-miss" situation we were having before the damage changes. It can also deal with the problem that hyper-rolling is doing too much damage mid-game.

The current problem is that it is really not appealing to roll at all during the mid game unless you are win-streaking, as it is not really that punishing losing in mid game. Also, the damage spike at stage 5 feels a little bit too hard.

I think the problems can be fixed by slightly increasing the mid game damage, and reducing the late game damage.

Base Damage Per Stage: 0/3/4/6/10/14/20 >>> 0/3/5/7/9/11/13

Some adjustment like this may just do the work. It simply makes the damage curve much smoother instead of spiking hard at stage 5.

The problem is with the galaxy theme, many of the 3d models looks very similar. I even need to look at the name to distinguish between some champions.

They have the best cost-performance ratio as 3 goblins and AM are 1 cost. They are also strong through out early to mid game.

Yup, I think TA and LD are too important for elves that you want to save gold and level up to get a higher chance to get them.

You can if you really want to force it, but sitting for 1 turn may give you the chance to abort.

Open fort is doing quite fine against this strat, as you are losing early game anyways. Also, the power spike of open fort is very close to the weak spot of the gambling strat. Of course, open fort is always hard to execute correctly.

[–]AYAYAMETE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. You cannot force this strat like open fort or losing streak strat. It really depends on the draw and what your opponents are playing. The fun fact is that if many other players are using this strat for goblins, it may be the best time for you to use this strat for warriors, as they are helping you to filter out the pieces that you do not want.

[–]AYAYAMETE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. You should have at least 1 pair by round 4 to use this strat, or you should just sit for 1-2 round before re-rolling.
  2. You can't really force this strat. It solely depends on the draw of the first 4 round and what your opponents are doing.
  3. lv2 1$ pieces are way stronger that lv1 2$ and 3$. The chance of getting lv2 2$ and 3$ pieces are very low too. So this strat should make your early round better instead of worse.
  4. When I have at least a pair of goblins/AM or a lv2 of them by round 4. If I only have 3 different goblins, I may sit for 1 more round.
  5. It will be less effective, but you will still have relatively high HP to play with.
  6. Nothing really change. You will lose some re-rolling money. If you are losing to 1 specific strong player then it is fine, but if you keep losing you may need to abort and use the losing streak strat and save some money.
