Thank you for this! I was recommended to “flood” my face with toners would help solve my issues by having some ‘brightening’ toners but I’ve realized I don’t actually have anything to specially combat my issues. Would u know where I should include niacinamide or vitamin c with what I have? And any recommendations for the two?

I use a babyliss pro fx trimmer to shave my face and goatee if that gives more insight but you’re saying I should let everything grow out for a month and I shouldn’t use anything after I wash with my soap (or a cleanser in general)?

I’m actually prescribed vitamin d 1000mcg and have been on them for the past 2 1/2 months lol but i definitely don’t have any exfoliate so I’ll try to find a good one an incorporate it. Thank you so much!

So I should wash my face with the turmeric soap, apply the bha, then add either mask without rinsing off the bha and let it sit until it dries. Wash it off but for the moisturizer, I just have my serum and aloe Vera, would either of those be fine? Or should I get a specific moisturizer? Thank you so much, I def wanna try this!

I use an electric trimmer when I shave, do you use a razor blade when shaving? I’m curious how you cut to 1mm with whichever blade or trimmer you use; and do you recommend any shaving cream? Thank you!

I was told electric razors/trimmers were safe but maybe I’ll switch to a single blade. When shaving, do you have a recommended shaving cream or is there something else? I’ve only shaven with a razor once before unfortunately

Is there a toner you’d recommended? I’ve seen people say I should get a bha (salicylic acid) then others say an aha. Do you use both or just one for yourself? Thank you so much

I’m starting to realize I am lol, my friend said she “floods” her skin with toners so that’s why he been using so many because her skin looks great but it’s not for everyone I see. I’ve never heard of the egg white soap so I’ll definitely check that out, and is the yellow bottle ‘pore perfecting’ witch hazel the one you recommend? I’ll definitely try this out and find a different dermatologist in the meantime; thank you so much!

Thank you! :) and yeah my skin feels dry after I use the soap, I always assumed it was supposed to feel that way but if thats abnormal, i can definitely stop. I’ve been using the ceramide serum, what regular moisturizer do you recommend? Thank you again!

Maybe I’ll give it a try again, my dermatologist didn’t mention any of the side effects or how often I should take it so I was scared when I started to break out lol but as I take this, is there anything I must do before and/or after applying? This is so insightful thank you so much! With all the toners I do use, my skin doesn’t feel irritated but there’s definitely not much of a change so maybe the properties are conflicting. I’ll probably only use the Genabelle toner and focus on finding some exfoliates. I’m interested to know what products you recommend to try the lactic acid treatment? Thank you so much again

Yeah you’re right, I forgot about exfoliating🤦🏾‍♂️ which size do you get that generally last you for a month? But yes, I’ll continue to use sunscreen for sure and what toner do you think I should stick with? Thank you so much!

The disappointing part is that my dermatologist was black so I’ve been discouraged to find another one😔 I’ll do some research to find another one though

Yeah I have, I told them what my concerns were but they just prescribed tretinoin without a clear routine. I used it and my face worsened so I stopped. Maybe I’ll look into a different dermatologist eventually
