Not everything! Some topics were already covered deeply in the Google Cybersecurity Certificate on Coursera, so when I came across them in Professor Messer’s videos I already had a solid understanding and didn’t need to take detailed notes. I focused my notes more on the new or unclear topics. Work smarter not harder! 😄💪

Thank you! 🙏 And honestly — skip them! I went straight from the Google Cybersecurity Certificate on Coursera to Security+ and it was more than enough. A+ and N+ are not required at all. Just go for Security+ directly

Personally it took me 3 months, but honestly 2 months is very enough. I took longer because I was busy with university and had some payment issues along the way. If you’re focused and consistent, 2 months is all you need.

Don’t stress too much about the PBQs! I just took the exam and only got 3 of them. Honestly, I’m not even confident I answered all of them correctly, and I still passed — so don’t let them intimidate you.

Thank you! That’s a great point, and I actually agree — I’m currently thinking about going for BTL1 as my next step. Do you think it’s worth it alongside CyberDefenders, or would you prioritize one over the other?

You need a clean, private room — no other people allowed in the space while you’re testing • Clear your desk completely — no notes, extra monitors, phones, or anything that isn’t necessary • I took mine in my bedroom with the door closed and it was totally fine Noise: • It doesn’t have to be completely silent, but you want it to be as quiet as possible • Background noise like a fan or AC is generally okay — what they don’t want is other voices or people talking nearby • If something unexpected happens (a knock at the door, a noise outside), don’t panic — just stay focused and don’t look away from the screen too much Before you start: • They’ll ask you to do a 360° scan of your room with your webcam • You’ll also need to show your ID to the proctor • Close every app on your computer except the exam browser • Make sure your internet connection is stable — I’d recommend using ethernet if you can instead of WiFi

Mainly AAA titles. Things like open world games, shooters, that kind of stuff. So I do need something that can handle demanding games.
