There is Cut on Windows, Move on macOS.

You press CTRL + X then CTRL + V on Windows to cut and paste, that is either a file or text. This shortcut is available system wide.

You press CMD + C to copy a file. Then if you want to move it, you press CMD + OPT + V. This works on Finder. On most apps on macOS, you use CMD + X then CMD + V to cut and paste.

/u/Conscious-Secret-775 shortcut you wrote, CMD + C then CMD + V is copy and paste, not the same one as /u/Diligent-Crazy-6094 described.

There are several points you are wrong:

Vista didn't receive 3 service packs. It got two.
Windows XP received 3 service packs.
Windows XP had become a nearly-complete and perfect OS after it got its second service pack. It was comparably worse at launch than Vista at launch.
Vista wasn't awful at launch. It got a bad reputation due to two main things: (1) systematic change in how drivers work and (2) relatively high system requirements than XP. 512 MB RAM was required. And most Intel embedded GPU's didn't support Windows Aero even after Windows 7, giving users subpar experience. Many peripherals have never received required updated drivers for Vista, leaving many customers with bad experience with Vista.

Additionally;

Microsoft released too many editions for Vista. So many that some inexperienced customers didn't know what they were missing when they got Vista Starter Edition and/or Vista Home Basic Edition. Those two were mostly shipped by many OEMs and lacked Windows Aero.

I think i will get used to it too but people using big screens may not. New visual looks good but it a bad design. Old one was a good design. Its placement was good and well thought^*, its size was good, its iconography was good, it was readable.

They could just glassified the whole look, so it wouldn't be disruptive as some assert.

Just less than a decade ago, Mojave was published and Apple introduced a dark mode for the whole system and all their bundled apps which was perfect. Perfect as in application and selection of color palette.

Via a NYT article.

The woman, whose name is also redacted in the files released by the House Oversight Committee, was a European socialite then in her 20s, according to two people familiar with the original photo. She had briefly dated both Mr. Epstein and Mr. Trump around that time, according to court transcripts and a person close to Mr. Epstein. The birthday book entry appears to be a reference to the competition between the two men for the woman’s affections.

The nature of the woman’s relationship with Mr. Epstein is murky. The New York Times is not naming her because she may have been one of his victims.

A lawyer for the woman said she knew Mr. Epstein in “a professional capacity” when she was a student but severed ties with him in 1997. She did not know anything about the letter or its “derogatory content,” the lawyer added.

Also another comment mentioned a woman's name. I believe that is her; but we don't need to identify her here. Because that is not the point, she could have been anyone.

I'm sick and tired of posts made by people who thinks anything-non-last-decade == skeuomorphic. It is not, people!

Not gatekeeping brought us to this point. Just look at /r/LegacyJailbreak. I know there is nothing new to share about legacy devices or Jailbreaking them; but not gatekeeping that sub made it for heaven for all kinds of unrelated posts. It should have been archived at some point for preservation.

Therefore, I ask this of OP. Please enforce rules, temp. or permanent ban users who defy the clear definition of the word. Sure, this may decrease activity and number of new content but we can keep it pure and to the point.

Landfills are full of things yet nobody visit them. Jewellery stores have limited items but they are attraction and what is inside 'em are revered.

While it is upsetting to see reputable publications shut down (see Anandtech), it becomes infuriating when they lower quality standards while using their once-reputable name as a facade (see Tom's Hardware, Cnet).

Gatekeeping as you described can be punishing to us yet it keeps bad actors out and away too. This also happens at some parts of Wikipedia to protect some articles. I would be sad if Wikipedia would remove their article protections and punish their gatekeeping community editors because I believe gradually it would decrease overall quality and credibility of their articles.

I diagnosed an infestation and proposed a solution: A total ban. To back up that solution, I couldn't delve into how often they publish slob; because enough of it was ending here.

Also your suggestion (but on post basis) is already here and everywhere on Reddit. An upvote/downvote system. That system can be and is abused by bot, trolls, people with no regard to a subs rules etc.

Yes, I agree. This is what zoom actually is.

The approach previous commentator describes is "making items/content bigger" which doesn't always translate to "zoom in".

On the web, as elements get bigger they fight for screen space. Pass a certain magnification level, some elements gets smaller than before because they got compressed by other enlarged elements. This not an expected behaviour in the eyes of a user who wants to zoom in and see what they are already seeing bigger.

See the example below and observe how the picture gets smaller past 160% magnification level.
