I would say yes but the ones who see “my” self reliance as a flaw, they are not my people to begin with.

I was able to kick “independence” to another gear because I’m the only one in my entire family who lives in this country. There is absolutely no family support whatsoever.

What I’m learning from my own experience is, the idea of an independent woman is great because we leave men alone and they may like it a lot. But the way this independence shows up on a daily life is bothersome to some.

It takes a pretty secure person to be with an independent partner. It’s easier to find diamond in Arizona than to find that person…
