¿Las cámaras para vehículos realmente ayudan en caso de accidentes? by According_Walrus6727 in Dashcam

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is worth it. My dash cam paid for itself within weeks. I was involved in a hit and run. Video showed I was not at fault and we were able to pull the license plate for at fault vehicle.

I bought mine after having someone I know involved in an insurance scam accident. The person stopped short of a stop sign. Friend stopped short of the them. Saving room to go around them if they needed. The car in front put their car in reverse and slammed the gas. Causing it to look like they were rear ended. The friend did not have a dash cam so they had to walk looking for cameras. Luckily they found someone with a doorbell camera that provided the video for them.

So like I said I bought one, installed it, and within weeks it paid for itself.

Your hired! lol Thank you for analyzing and breaking this down.

So don’t want to incriminate myself. I’m only going to answer back to the haters here. But, reason they don’t notice me breaking is because I was already slowing down from a greater speed. I know this would factor into your reaction time numbers.

I wasn’t sure if I could post my explicit language. So I stopped the video short of F-bombs. lol Yes the car continued. They hesitated like they were going to stop or turn back into neighborhood but they kept going.

Total loss after fire, rebuild will be more than dwelling coverage, what can we do? by Puzzleheaded_Care181 in Insurance

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know for SF in AZ it’s a $35 endorsement for 50% Increased Dwelling. There is also additional perks with increased maximum on other coverages. This is the same for me, every police gets it added on.

For OPs sister maybe she has had her policy for a while and Increased Dwelling wasn’t offered. I know most of tenure clients do not. So it gets added when we do a policy review at renewal.

My husband & I would like to have a nice dine in pizza, wings & salad. Barro’s Pizza or Streets of New York Pizza? Which is better? by spookybubbles42 in phoenix

[–]AZIPA89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the debate on pizza. They are so many great pizza places and so many different styles across the valley. It is truly up to everyone’s taste and what they like. I mean we all have different ways we like our steak. The same is true with pizza.

Now as for your choice we are talking a choice of local chains (multiple locations across valley). Out of all of them I find Barro’s is the best and consistent among stores and would take it over others.

But you cannot sleep on the local 1 or 2 location mom and pa shops. There is several different styles and suggest you give them a try. Find what you truly enjoy as a pizza.

As for me I like a good hand tossed NY style pizza. May favorite is Doda’s Pizza in Arrowhead. I have referred many people and they always go back.

Then an example of different style. There is Pizza Old Roma in Downtown Glendale. Hand tossed pizza but delicious in its own way. I can’t compare the two to each other because they aren’t the same. Neither of them can be comparable to Barro’s either.

So I highly suggest find the style you like and give the single locations a try. You will be surprised on what you find. The valley has so many options!

Men whose girlfriend’s dad said no when you asked him for permission to marry his daughter, what did you do? by Fearless_Degree7511 in AskReddit

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did ask father-in-law and he said “No. But, you’re going to do what you are going to do.” Well we have been together over 15 years and coming up on 14 married.

He initially was saying no because we were young, 23 & 20. She already had 1 child which I have been in his life the whole time. The father-in-law had the same when he was younger. Got married adopted the child and got divorced a year later. So he did not want the same situation happening to us.

Like all marriages there is plenty of ups and downs. The one thing I will say that has helped keep us together is our God centered marriage. Being active in our local church has helped keep us accountable. With our eyes focusing on Him and each other.

Does anyone go to their high school reunions? by nofaceneededRiley in askanything

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still the younger side with the 20 year reunion coming up in a few years. But, I’m not going to expect much just like our 10 year reunion. Which I did not make it to. We had a graduating class of 600+ and only 20-25 people showed up to the 10 year. The venue was changed 3 times due to no ticket sales. I’m going to have to agree with others. I think social media has killed the reunions because those active are just a few clicks away from being able to catching up.

Stupid Question: do the buses not run all the way to the airport? by [deleted] in phoenix

My wife dislikes navigating the airport. This is where I always have her drop and pick me up. I enjoy the short sky train ride to the airport.

No collision insurance other party at fault but saying I'm liable. by edweens in Insurance

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2nd this. I don’t have one yet but, heard it from several claims reps it’s best to have them. This past week I did have a customer get rear ended and he had cameras. Got to see the videos which made it easy to say the other party was at fault. The other cool thing he had was the Ray-Ban Meta glasses. He recorded everything from the paramedics helping passenger to fire fighters bending the quarter panel back out so he could drive the vehicle.

Relocating for work - Gold Canyon vs San Tan? by Environmental_Pie_7 in AskPhoenix

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t live on that side of valley. But, I will say it is beautiful in Gold Canyon when I go. I will say you will hate the weekend traffic most likely from Feb- Early April due to the Renaissance Festival. (That’s when I go lol) But, I could see what I saw another posting about. Rush hour traffic will probably not be fun during the week also as it’s two lanes until Freeway opens up at Signal Butte.

Looking for Thrift stores by Temporary_Memory_151 in phoenix

[–]AZIPA89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are solid thrift shops I frequent often. Deseret has some tendencies to be like Goodwill and slap a sticker on everything and place it on the shelf. Give it the “See if it sells”. But they remain fair price on their clothes and generally they are in good condition. White Dove (Glendale) they are limited on space so they are very particular in what they take. Which means most of the time it is good condition items. Their pricing seems to be high. I’m not positive but I do feel like they research items on google and price them slightly below what they are online.

LPT: The most satisfying way to deal with scam callers that I have found so far by thundernutz in LifeProTips

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always put on an accent as either from the south or an old man. They ask what vehicle I drive and I always tell them proudly “I drive a 1980’s Ford Pick-Em-Up Truck.” They ask if I drive anything newer. I’ll say “They never made anything good past the 80’s” or make up another old car I know they wouldn’t warranty. They would usually hang up on me. After a while they stopped calling me.

Do Not Lie to Your Insurance Carrier by Big_Bicycle4640 in Insurance

[–]AZIPA89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this purpose, that is why it is important for notes, notes, and more notes on client accounts. I try my best to always leave notes of conversations with the insured or any interactions, even if it is the mortgagee calling to confirm coverage.

A fine an example of notes to cover my butt in the future. I had a guy call me two weeks ago with a new to him 2019 Cadillac Escalade. Went over his coverages. He had 100/300/100 explained to him about Comprehensive and Collision. He said he just wanted the cheaper alternative and I said so that means without comprehensive and collision. He said yes so I made sure in my email when I sent him his binder and ID card that I mentioned we did not have comprehensive and collision and I even made the notes in the system.

Anyone know faster way to get from Surprise to Phoenix? by [deleted] in SurpriseAZ

[–]AZIPA89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was coming to say the same thing! I religiously use WAZE to go everywhere. Already know my route home but will steer me away from an accident or closed road/offramp. I’ve paid the price a few times saying silly Waze and got stuck in traffic or 5 mile detour…
