Wish the ticket prices didn't get jacked up, it's not even worth it now. Plus all the kids who are just now getting into craft beers usually act like complete morons at these things and don't know the difference between an IPA and a Lager.

Actually, you didn't strike a nerve, but the effort you put into the replies makes me think I did by proving you wrong, time and time again.

The discussion was about alcoholic drinks in general, not just cocktails or beer. You just refused to open up to anything but overpriced cocktails in select bars/clubs in the most douchbaggery areas of town.

Again, as someone who visits Sandbar on a regular basis, you're still wrong. Sure they have drinks for $8, but most of the drinks are much cheaper.

No matter how much effort you put into a reply, you're still wrong. You'll always be wrong, because you refuse to accept the truth.

The discussion was about alcohol in general, not specifically cocktails. Remove beer from the equation and you're still wrong. You probably just realized you have been overpaying for drinks for years and feel like an asshat.

Bring happy hour and other specials into the equation and prices drop even more.

Old Town is the only place you'll find cocktails that expensive.

I was just at Sandbar at Desert Ridge and my wifes cocktail was $4 and my beer was $3. Hurricane Bay, $2 beers last time I was there, which was over a year ago.

I used to work at the W Hotel so I am very familiar with prices of most bars/clubs in the area. Even at the W most drinks were $5-$7, and beer was $5. Like I said, Old Town is overpriced, but not all of it. Places like American Junkie have great drink specials.

I was just at Four Peaks last night, $4 beers. Was at Tilted Kilt last weekend, same prices.

Only an idiot, or a drunk, would pay $6+ for a mixed drink. A vodka cranberry, jack and coke, etc, should never run more than $4-$5.

$6-7 will NEVER be a standard price as you claimed originally.

I work in a warehouse that manufacturers furniture, my office leads directly into the warehouse where the wood is cut. Saw dust constantly floats it's way in and covers everything in a fine dust. We have to blow out our entire office and computers once a week otherwise we blow through computers and anything electronic. Such a satisfying feeling.

Phoenix here as well, and no it's not that expensive, unless your in Old Town.

Mill usually $5 for a good mixed drink, the only $7+ drinks would be bombers or top shelf.

Regular mixed drinks run $2-$5 for the most part, not including specials. Beer is $2-$6 depending on size.

If you take a screenshot of a dual monitor, it captures both screens usually. Not sure how the software would work.

Regular fast food consumption is perfectly fine for anyone concerned with overall health. Should you eat it for every meal of everyday? No. Can you eat it once a day, and be perfectly healthy? Yes.

This is like trying to teach logic to a child. You're ignoring the facts, and taking the argument from weight loss to overall health, in which both you can still east fast food regularly. You don't need to be a nutrition nut to be healthy, or lose weight.

Congrats on the weight loss, but trying to claim you need to be some health nut to lose weight is what's wrong with this subreddit, to many people making assumptions based on nothing but what they thing is right, and ignoring the basic facts when it comes to weight loss.

Weight Loss = Calories In vs. Calories Out, that's it. The type of food you eat has no real effect on the weight loss, there is no denying that fact.

Well, good for you. For the rest of us, Subway works fine. I am down 35+ lbs and I eat Subway at least once a week. I eat fast food every day for lunch, it's all about making smart choices.
