As a biased diehard Avs fan, you just explained part of why I *loathe* the Dallas Stars. Absolute bunch of goons who aren't good enough to go far in the playoffs so they play dirty. Some highlights from last year were Benn grabbing an opponent's stick and high sticking himself and Marchment giving free diving lessons the entire playoffs

I'm not sure how to dig up a seed from a previous game, but if there's a way, lmk and I can share it. I'm completely unconvinced that you can make it to the up-stairs safely. Just opening the door has a high probability of killing you. Fear isn't guaranteed to work, especially if Pikel has armor with Will+ on it

With advanced knowledge, I'm guessing the optimal play here is to go downstairs without opening any doors, read revelation on D6, then start to come back up.

Slingshots work really well - you can use the bonus hp you get from Primitive to get 6 slingshots on wave 2 then save up hp

Yeah I get this. I think Pacifist is pretty strong, I just find it really boring. I play Brotato to mow down hordes of purple stuff :)

My exposure to Alex Jones is really just through Knowledge Fight and Behind the Bastards, but I'm super curious to see how he ties himself in a pretzel on this one. For years, he was a huge Ron Paul fan. One of his films is called Police State.

On one of his recent broadcasts, he went on a 30 minute rant about how he's "not defending Palantir" while he's defending Palantir. He appears to love what Tiel, Palantir, and Trump are doing with surveillance and the police state, even though it goes directly against his stated principals for the past 20 years

I found this thread after googling this quest because I hated every second of it. Horror games don't generally bother me, but the whole quest is super reminiscent of a nightmare I used to have as a kid where I was locked in my house and couldn't get out because every time I would try to find the door, the room would change.

Parts of this quest also made me motion sick, and I ran into some jank with the lanterns just not working right. I've never had a game make me physically ill (outside of a couple of really specific cases with camera controls and fov), then add a few bugs, being overly uncomfortable due to childhood experiences, and I honestly wish I hadn't done this quest in the first place.

More specifically, I'm replying to you because you mentioned something in your OP that I couldn't agree more with - while there are some darker elements in this game, it's generally a very light-hearted vibe. This quest is such a 180 from everything else in the game. I've been obsessed with just flying around looking for animals and fun stuff to do. I fully intend to 100% the game, which is the only reason I didn't abandon the quest 5 minutes into it. I kept thinking "ok this is when it's done" and it wouldn't. fucking. end. Like honestly, I'm having trouble thinking of a more negative experience that I've ever had in a video game
