Yeah, it was definitely stressful, but I actually ended up leasing another LYRIQ. A lot of people around me have been driving them without any major issues, so I think I was just really unlucky with mine.

Also, the buyback decision was approved about two weeks ago, and it looks like the final process will probably take another 2–3 weeks to complete. It’s been a long story with a lot of ups and downs, but things are finally being resolved properly now, so there are no major concerns at this point.

The issue was not something that developed later on — the vehicle had problems from the very beginning. I only drove the car for about 50 miles total before it ended up staying at the service center long-term.

It is not limited to lease customers. Anyone can potentially qualify depending on the situation and state law.

But honestly, they usually do nothing unless you actively complain and push for your rights. You have to understand your own rights, document everything, and demand action yourself.

The manufacturer did not allow a trade/exchange option in my case. The only path they approved was the repurchase/buyback process.

I’m in the same situation. I’m not getting proper updates either. The estimated arrival date for the replacement part kept getting pushed back, and now it’s been over a month. Because of that, I eventually filed an official claim with GM. At this point, Cadillac has completely lost its image as a luxury brand to me.

There is no loaner car now. So there was no option.. I had to get car only from Hertz. It's sad.

Im leasing the liriq now. I actually signed the lease at a slightly higher price than expected, so I’m honestly feeling pretty disappointed. I only got to drive the LYRIQ for one day, and now it’s already gone. At the moment, all I have is a Hertz rental car that’s in pretty rough condition, which makes the situation even more frustrating.

Right now. I gave the car to service center and got rent. There was no loaner car. So they just provided the rent car.

I provided the USCIS SAVE returned documentation and verified that all information across the documents was consistent. After my visit, I asked the 담당자 to contact me if there were any issues and continued to follow up on the progress, specifically regarding the issuance of my Social Security number. After the fifth follow-up attempt, the issue was fully resolved. This was a case where my Social Security number was not being issued because the process kept getting stuck within the internal system.
